First of all, I’m not one to write reviews very often, but I am so impressed with this product and it’s results that I felt compelled to share. My partner and I have two cats who historically have had free roam of the entire house. At 7 months pregnant, we have had to close off access to our room and also the nursery, and it is safe to say that my male cat hates it. For several weeks, we have had sleepless nights breaking up cat fights, extreme food aggression and very unsettled behaviour. We’ve come home to find clumps of our female cat’s fur scattered around the house, and discovered that she has had accidents in the most obscure of places. It’s been honestly heartbreaking watching them both struggle. We used to use Feliway classic (the friends one made him more aggressive!) so I bought the spray for his bedding and replaced the diffusers, we’ve changed his food bowl for one that causes him to eat slower, and divided his dinner into two portions so that he is full overnight (he is a very greedy cat and after finishing his own bowl, would launch after his sister to access hers), increased our playtime, we tried separating them overnight- but then found they were even worse when they were reunited, removed catnip toys overnight as they were overstimulating him, ensured not to add to the cat’s stress by speaking softly - even whilst either were being naughty - but nothing resolved the situation for our cats. Some changes helped a little, but nothing fixed it. As you can imagine, we’ve found the situation very distressing to watch and it has been a real test for us whilst trying to find something that would work for them. As we’d had such a bad reaction to the feliway friends, I’d been reluctant to change the diffuser from one that historically had worked. My partner and I were considering other brands when I came across this. I’m honestly so glad that we tried it!! Within 24 hours, the scrapping reduced, and since the second night it was installed, both cats have had peaceful nights together. My boy’s behaviour around food is the best it has ever been and my little girl is a lot let anxious. Their spatting is very rare again and I’m honestly just so grateful that they are both so much happier now! Thank you, Feliway Optimum - I can honestly say that you have saved our family!!

My cat was skittish and anxious from the moment I got her. I tried everything I could think of to soothe her and nothing seemed to work - I was considering taking her to the vet and getting her medicated until I remembered using Feliway with my previous cat a couple of years before. I opted for the Feliway Optimum over the Classic and plugged it in. I swear, she's like a different cat. Still shy and cautious but way less skittish, much more affectionate and more confident exploring the house. I've had her for 8 months and she's made leaps and bounds confidence wise and I know I have Feliway to thank in part. I've also used the Feliway Classic spray and it's worked a treat on top of the diffuser.

The Feliway refill did help calm our cats a bit, especially with general tension around the house. We noticed a mild improvement rather than a dramatic change. One diffuser wasn’t enough for our home though — we needed two to cover the space properly for it to be effective. The main downside is the cost, as it becomes quite expensive when you need multiple refills. It does work, but it’s not a cheap solution. Worth trying if your cats are stressed, just be aware one unit may not be sufficient.

We've used Feliway Plugins in the past, but this time we decided to try the Feliway Optimum, which was recommended as more effective. Initially, there was little or no effect, until we changed out the bottles that came with the plugs with the new refills. Following that, serenity seems to have finally descended on our household, the best we can expect, between our elderly (12-year-old) Black Female Cat, Peggi, our much younger (7-year-old) Black Male Cat, Terri and the new arrival, a 7-year-old Female Ginger Calacoe Female Cat, Gremlin (and yes, when she was a kitten she looked just like the Mogwai from the Gremlins Film Franchise, but I digress. We weren't holding up much hope but we would recommend that you bear with this product, until such time that the initial bottles run out, so you can replace them with suitable refills. I've seen a number of reviews that say that Feliway Optimum is a bit "hit or miss" or "didn't work at all" but once you utilise the separate refills, we assure you, the difference in your little furbabies is quite noticeable. We personally recommend this product for use over 2-3 months, at which point this product pays for itself, not just financially but also the relief to your sanity.

This product works exactly as stated - my cat is very anxious and used to regularly pee outside of the litter tray (literally adjacent to it). Since using feliway, she doesn't do it all! The product lasts exactly a month, and as soon as it runs out (and we forgot to change it!) she'll have a regression. Clearly works and will continue to buy!

Two cat household - and one sometimes picks on the other. It’s a jealous dominance situation. This is seems to work. No noise or odour so we can’t notice it is on. I’d recommend giving it a go!

Always good to keep on hand

Easy to use and assemble. Good quality product. No noise or odor. They are secure. They didn’t seem to get particularly hot. Good size to fit in a socket. We used these for our cat when moving home as she waking us up a lot in the night. We didn’t notice much difference when using them, so I’m not sure whether they were effective.

Although package was opened it is perfectly fine. Humans do not sense the smell emitted and it works great.
