Makes the job so much easier
Makes the job so much easier, literally makes the coilover slide right out. Last time I worked on my coils I had to use a pry bar, was a huge pan and required another person to pry. Just spend the money and save your time. You will thank yourself

The Atlin Strut Speader Tool, my newest addition to my tool collection!
Excellent tool! Saved all that work trying to spread the strut with a screwdriver (which wouldn't work anyway). The right tool for every job is the way to go!

A small but very important tool for replacing front struts.
If you are replacing McPherson struts on a VW or BMW etc. This makes the work much easier and without it is nearly impossible. This is one of the most reasonably priced one available.

Nice Tool For Some
Worked on my 2015 VW Jetta SE, but didn't get the knuckle far enough apart for the aftermarket shocks (Bilstein) due to the extra thickness from the paint.

Works well
Worked perfectly to separate the steering knuckle when replacing struts. Much better than trying to pound in a screw driver. Well worth it!
