Find out about the US in your armchair
The best way to see a country is on the rails....no hassle with traffic and usually they have pretty good food. Bought this game to share my love of train travel with friends. Will be playing during the cold winter months.

Great look
The rules are simple and the board while simple really poops graphically. May need to buy the expansion maps for more game variety

Fun Game
This is a fun multilayered strategy game. Rules seem complicated at first, but can be easily learned. If playing more competitively instead of more cooperatively, the length of play time can be like a good game of chess.

Good game damaged in shipping
Game is good. It came in a plastic envelope so the game box was damaged.

Good Game With a Subjectively Annoying Flaw
The game has a small rules barrier that makes more sense once you process the board. The layout, iconography, and components are very well made. It is fun and interesting. However... be prepared to do a lot of double, triple digit arithmetic. I'm fairly quick with numbers but for 6 rounds you will be adding and multiplying several numbers for each player. It has the cadence of a football game. It's fun and exciting but also wrapped in busy work. It might flow better keeping a small calculator and chips handy but it's still going to consume time between decisions though to be fair much of the math you probably already did before making your move. Maybe this isn't a problem for many players but when there are so many options out there it's hard for me to overlook. I suppose it might make practicing math fun for the kids so there is some educational value.

Meeples all aboard!
An excellent easy point fest game via locomotive links. This is TTR all grown up. Game is simple with 1 page directions (front and back). Vibrant huge board to build locomotive rails upon. Object of the game is to get the most points (money) upon the scoreboard by strategic advancement of locomotive rail building and capitalizing off simplistic stock shares. Game is over after the 6th round. There is a fine balance between stocks vs locomotive rails available. Chicago is the hotspot on the board and make sure you read the ruling three times through on the instruction sheet to comprehend all the multiple triggers it does once a locomotive rail has been established. Enjoy moving your meeples across the country to rack up lots of points!
