The Maggi is very good.

Used it to make a quick Djon Djon rice, it taste great. No it will not taste exactly like when you use actual dried mushrooms because your not using actual dried mushrooms. But its still good ifnyoubuse it right. I used 3 to 4 cubes for 2 cups of rice. The expiration date is about 9 months from the time I received the product but it's fine I just split the box with family.

Order boxes from here before. I recently ordered 3 more but the packaging is different and the cubes smelled weird. I cook some rice using 6 cubes and instead of turning the rice black like it use to. It turned into a light brown color and the rice taste nothing like it did with my previous purchases. ***UPDATE***... May 25,2022 Once again I decided to ordered this again for the 8th or 9th time hoping that I wouldn't get a bad bash like I did 4 times already but unfortunately I did. The packaging had a very strong chemical smell and when I dissolve 2 cubes into water, it smelled worst and the color was off. I think the company changed the ingredients because the rice doesn't even turn black. Never buying this again.

I love how this tastes! The color doesn't bother me much, as the flavor makes up for it.
