Fantastic Seed.
I reseeded my from yard with their Ultra and just planted the High Traffic in my backyard. I've had incredible results with this brand. My yard looks like a golf course. I bought an electric verti cutting machine on Amazon for around $100 and a few watering timers. The key is to prep the soil with the veri-cutter, seed the area, fertilize and then verticut everything into the soil. Set up your sprinklers so that they provide good coverage of the seeded area and water 10-12 minutes every 8 hours. Once the seed is established you can back this off some but the grass needs a few weeks of watering to get properly established. If you have poor soil you should amend it with a high quality gardening soil. One of my favorite fertilizers to amend soil with and to put on my lawn in Milorganite or a generic variation. Consistent watering and soil prep are key to getting good results.

Top notch!
Great seed that germinated quickly. I put this down a few weeks ago after aerating and used it for over seeding the bare spots in my yard. Hands down, Jonathan Green has a superior product. Just a side note to people who complain that they can't get seed to grow or complain that a certain seed is bad etc, do your homework and check the PH of your soil! Go on YouTube and watch videos from "the lawn care nut" as well as videos from manufactures like Jonathan Green etc. Every single reputable person will tell you to feed the soil first and the grass will grow. Check your PH, research grass types for your climate zone (WHICH TYPE GROWS BEST IN YOUR PART OF THE COUNTRY) and stop using a fully synthetic lawn program. I have learned so much about soil biology, microbes, PH and so on, that I will never not use quality seed or organic fertilizers ever again. My lawn is thick and beautiful except for the pee spots my shepherd gives me, and 100% organic. Take some time and watch some vids, you'll have the nicest lawn on the block and be that much wiser than the average homeowner. Enjoy!

Durable stays short
I have not put it out on my lawn, waiting for spring. But I have used it in the past. I can tell you dogs had worn a trail in my yard and I just threw the seed out on the top of the ground raked it some watered it and it came up very durable, stays short so less mowing. Highly recommend

pretty expensive for the amount of seed
Grows well in some spots but not others, pretty expensive for the amount of seed.

Good germination rate unlike many others
Impressive high and fast germination. Seeded in late early October during cooler temps (50-75) and with the occasional rain and watering came up within a week. Too early to tell ultimate performance so holding off on 5star rating.

Not one blade of grass grew.

I highly recommend this grass
This is just what I needed, I can't believe how fast it grew!!! I had a bad storm that upended trees, the machines to remove them left big ruts in the lawn which were filled in with topsoil. I used this to grow grass back in the area that was damaged, within a few days I saw the grass already growing, now it is plush and strong and beautiful. I will never use anything else, this grass seed is the best I've ever used, highly recommend it!

Can barely see the grass that actually sprouts. It's a Chia Pet!
Got about 50-60% germination (I suppose that's about average). The true test will be when temps are hitting 80 deg every day (Florida), we'll see if it just browns out and leaves me with nothing like all the others, including Scotts. UPDATE TO MY PRIOR 3-STAR RATING: This does not stand up to heat, and oh by the way, the 50-60% germination- remember those Chia pet things you could buy and put seed all over, and the seed would sprout and look like hair. That's what you get here- about 2-3" high, very fine grass that either wilts or gets trampled.
