will only fit baby feet or feet of 6 inches as the foot bath is only an 8 inch radius,I was very disappointed.
when spoke to the company,I was told it is used for tossing water over your shoulder.I don't see what that has to do with feet.

Is this waterproof? I want to use it to make a bathroom sink by drilling and sealing a drain in it.

Onsen essential
My brother wanted an "onsen bucket" for Christmas -- the traditional, wooden bucket used in Japanese style bath houses. I found this one and it was delivered promptly and was exactly what my brother wanted. It's made of hinoki wood -- which smells very much like cedar.

Not for feet, duh!
Please ignore the comment about feet. Clearly the one star rating customer who thought it was for your FEET, was totally unaware of japanese customs with regard to bathing. This is for ONSEN bathing. In japanese bathing you wash before getting in the bath, this bucket is for rinsing your body off. You pour water over yourself before getting in the bath so you arent soapy.
