I have previously baught at least 3 iPhone OBD2 either WiFi or blue tooth scan tools and at least 2 wired stand alone hand held units. One as a dedicated BMW scan tool with full diagnostic and service capabilities or at least that is what it claimed. This unit is in another level entirely. To start it automatically identifies the VIN saving you time pinching in vehicle details, it is fast in DTC error code reading and it clear Error code function works flawlessly. Other units I have had to repeat the delete fault code several times but the codes would never delete. On glow plug errors it was alone to identify that the units were not present I.e the controller had failed which other scanners just missed. On the DPF I was able to deselect forced regeneration as I had a dpf cleaner in the tank that would have raised exhaust temperatures anyway as such a regeneration could damage the dpf. I could not do this with my BMW dedicated tool. I also used it to clear fuel filer heater faults caused by their service company whilst they replaced the fuel filter. My other tools did not even pick this fault up. Finally the wood updates and DTC google lookup is just amazing and convenient and the love data is something to behold. In a nutshell md having spend hundreds of pounds on other units promising things they just could not do I am finally happy I have a machine that does what it says on the tin. I love it!

Fantastic piece of kit

Device comes in hard case with all extra bits that are needed. Panel is well made and pleasant to hold. Rubber sides and support leg in the back gives an extra grip when needed. Software works fine. Covers all European US and Chinese brands. Regular software updates are also available. Device does exactly what it says on the description. Interface is user friendly and clear whan operating. Bluetooth connectivity works well too. Bigger screen would be a bonus.

I've had the MK808BT about a year now and so far it's done everything I needed. I only work on friends & family vehicles doing general maintenance across a varied range of models. The most complex task I took on with this tool was the oil change on a BMW 4 wheel drive transfer case - this can't be done without two way communication ( a 'reader' won't do ). Electronic parking brake release, no problem. Also linked seemlessly to a Hyundia Coupe that cheaper readers couldn't manage - ABS fault. My only slight criticism is the screen is reflective in bright sunshine. As for the updates, they're free for the first year and then for an annual fee you can keep this active if desired - I contacted the vendor and used their service which was faultless. Use a 256GB card if you're going to back-up the unit (see on-line videos on how to to this).

This is well worth every penny I got a launch before I put money in to the autel this is the best out there for technical jobs I find that there isn't a job it can't do that I need at moment immo to dpf worth it can't fault it if you struggling with what you decide choose this or the standard mk808 they both do same job definitely value for money high quality spot on professional performance

I found the product to be simple and easy to use. It is also very robust and well made and should stand up to the rigours of a workshop. Very good product for the professional and serious DIY’er alike. I have a BMW (so a code reader is a essential!) where the OBD2 socket is in the drivers footwell. The Bluetooth version means that there are no cables to get in the way whilst driving and collecting live data, which can be saved and retrieved at a later time. Autal also constantly updates their software for new cars which can be downloaded via Wi-if. It is also plug a play which will automatically detects the vehicles VIN number, telling it exactly what make and model it is. All the usual stuff such as TPMS and BMS and lots more.

I bought autel Mk808BT and this product is perfect for me system is so easy to use 5* I haven't got any problem with connection. Before I buying this I have to go to garage every single time when something was wrong and now I can do everything with my autel 👍👌 value for money 💰💰 Customer service is brilliant with any problem you can contact with them and they quickly response you on the message with correct answer and help 😁😁😁

My vehicle is not covered. An identical unit on you tube is, there is No Way of checking vehicle compatibility as the link is broken, no-one from the company gets back,despite email and WhatsApp

Máquina de diagnosis muy completa. Excelente opcion entre calidad y precio. Vale para muchísimas marcas. En mi taller estamos encantada con ella. Al ser sin cable es mas cómoda la conexión con el vehículo. Fácil e intuitiva de utilizar.

Dopo accurate ricerche sul web per acquistare una diagnosi completa e che avesse accesso a tutte le centraline presenti del parco auto 2020, tutte mi riportavano a questa come miglior rapporto qualità prezzo. Oltre chiaramente alla facilità di acquisto e tutela data da Amazon.it. - Il prodotto è di buona fattura e arriva in una valigetta rigida protettiva di circa 40x50 che presenta al suo interno tutto il necessario. Cavi mini usb, un adattatore uk, istruzioni etc. - Il SO base installato è un android un po datato ma comunque veloce e privo di impuntamenti. Il software proprietario è di facile utilizzo e di grafica intuitiva. Arriva preconfigurato in inglese ma dopo qualche settings si può cambiare in italiano. ATTENZIONE: Prima di cambiare la lingua in italiano, contattate il servizio Autel e fornite il codice dispositivo così da autorizzare lo sblocco lingua. Rifarete gli aggiornamenti presenti nella sezione e dopo potrete utlizzarlo sia in Inglese che in Italiano. - Il prodotto è stato provato in primis su un A45 AMG 2018, auto molto complessa e altamente tecnologica e la diagnosi in questione è riuscita a entrare facilmente con il VIN detector per capire di che auto si trattasse e successivamente a scannerizzare ben 32 centraline vettura, riportando su ognuna possibili errori, guasti e ulteriori informazioni per risolvere le problematiche. NB: VI ASSICURO CHE LA VETTURA E' STATA TAGLIANDATA UN MESE PRIMA IN MERCEDES PAGANDO IL CONTROLLO DIAGNOSI ERRORI, PRIMA DELL'ACQUISTO DI QUESTO PRODOTTO, E LA SUDDETTA DIAGNOSI HA RISCONTRATO ERRORI IN MEMORIA DA MOLTO PRIMA. CIO' DIMOSTRA DUE COSE: - LA PRIMA E' CHE MERCEDES POTREBBE NON AVERE TUTTI I SISTEMI DI DIAGNOSTICA NECESSARI PER OGNI MACCHINA CHE VENDE. - LA SECONDA E' CHE POTREBBERO AVER INCASSATO SENZA SVOLGERE IL LAVORO PAGATO. Pratica aimè molto frequente nei service. Ecco perchè vi assicuro che è necessario avere con sè una diagnosi personale per scongiurare qualsiasi problema in tempo reale senza lunghe attese dei service brand e appellarsi in caso di negligenza del concessionario per pagare pratiche non svolte. - Aggiornamenti: Gli aggiornamenti sono gratis per il primo anno, dopo si paga un supplemento di 150$. A mio parere un costo irrisorio per un officina per avere una diagnosi sempre aggiornata. Per un utente privato il consiglio è di sfruttare al massimo l'anno di aggiornamenti, successivamente se si acquista una futura auto di pagare e aggiornare. La diagnosi non ha lacune per tanto funziona bene su tutte le vetture fino a data attuale anche senza aggiornamenti. - Funzionalita: Facendo svariate ricerche ed entrando in modo approfondito nei prodotti presenti sul mercato, si nota con scrittine molto piccole o addirittura molte volte omettendole, mancanza di informazioni su funzionalità avanzate o presenza delle stesse solo per pochissime vetture. Nel caso di Autel è tutto molto chiaro e definito e al prezzo di vendita di questo prodotto non c'è altra diagnosi che ha le medesime funzionalità avanzate per ulteriori marchi di auto. Se si vuole uno spettro più ampio di funzionalità su maggiori brand i prezzi salgono e non poco facendo un bel saldo oltre i 1000€. Infine: Se siete un officina che ha necessità di una diagnosi a basso costo che copra annate 2020 senza esasperarsi in funzionalità avanzate, fa al caso vostro. Se siete un utente privato "CAPACE" che necessita di una diagnosi completa di emergenza in casa, per lavori fai da te, per tutelarsi da negligenze di service e meccanici inaffidabili e sapendo come si usa e ciò che si può fare con essa, per voi è indispensabile.

Great piece of equipment to have in the workshop, especially for the price. Can absolutely recommend. Used it so far on Land Rovers, Porsches, Mini Cooper's and Renault's. And every singel one has a great set of options.
