Of course, everyone in the western world even slightly interested in Japanese pop culture probably knows Plastic Love by now. The rest of the album is a bit different, having more of a 80s throwback to the 60s vibe - not normally my thing at all, but the songs are all really well written and the whole album just sounds so lushly produced. Thoroughly recommended. If you want a quick taste of the general sound of the other tracks, Night At The Amphitheater ( アンフィシアターの夜) has gotta be my fave here.

Fantastic album, well recorded...Plastic Love is the standout, well worth a purchase if you're into this kind of music.

Was für ein bonbonfarbener Spaß! Natürlich ist das großartige Plastic Love dabei. Man könnte meinen, dass dabei Michael Jackson-Produzent Quincy Jones die Finger im Spiel hatte. Aber auch die anderen Stücke sind absolut hörenswert. Gute Stimme, musikalisch irgendwo zwischen Beach Boys und Billy Joel. Perfekte Produktion!
