It worked beautifully. Initially It was hard to find a good summer setting as either the broth was bubbling or going cold but in the end I managed. It's a great fun pot to have as the whole family can sit around and cook and eat together. However, you have to know what to cook....that can be confusing as both the grill and the pot get hot. If just grilling then the pot is of no use or if using broth, then the grill is not being used. I used it for a Mongolian hotpot where basically you don't need the grill as ingredients are cooked in the broth.On the whole, it's light and great for the price. Be a nice addition for a 4 member meal. I've used it once.
