was to re[place older ones from realistic. They did the job. still do not know if they will last. So far so good

Outstanding sound reproduction
I bought these to replace a pair mounted in my patio ceiling - cones disintegrated after 12 yrs in the AZ heat. It was surprising that these came with round and square grilles - went with the round ones since that was what was previously on my patio. The only negative is that the mounting clips are fragile and you need to take care when screwing them down - ask me how I know this! These things sound amazing. The base reproduction is outstanding. I now have to worry I might be disturbing the neighbors too much with the bass-filled blues that I like.

Great speakers
Just installed these speakers in my house and they sound awesome. Crystal clear sound and they are loud. I bought two pairs and definitely recommend...... you can't beat this price!

Ok - little flat
Nice speaker but more of a flat sound - mid-range not really crisp. Ok for sound sound but not a high fidelity speaker

Movie Room Surround Sound
I bought these to mount in the ceiling in our movie room. They look great, sound fantastic, easy to install, and powerful for their size. Love these speakers.

Good Value
I used a pair of these speakers in my recently remodeled theater room. I am as happy as I can be with these speakers considering the price. I previously used an earlier model before but found these to be sturdier and better looking than their predecessor. I had no problems at all with the mounting and the sound is good in a 5.1 system. I have used higher end speakers but these have to be the best value with little perceptual notice of degraded sound quality. I see that some of the complaints are with the bass but I think they are as good as could be expected for their size and design. However, if you want theater sound I think a sub-woofer would definitely be recommended. A good way to install a good sound system on a tight budget. If you want to spend thousands of dollars on the speaker system, you could do better...
