Butterfly 8827 Timo Boll Table Tennis Racket

Great racket for intermediate players. Need some time to get used to it though but once you are comfortable it does wonders!!

A little background: Growing up I played quite bit of ping pong. In college, I played a fair bit of ping pong as well. Once I got a full time job, I didn't play as much, and for whatever reason didn't play for a few years at one point. Recently I've started playing again though, and then decided it was time for me to get a new paddle! I looked at quite a few choices and in the end decided to get a Butterfly...sentimental reasons probably played a good role in me deciding to get a Butterfly since as a kid I used a Butterfly. This paddle works great for my style of play! I smash a fair bit and don't spin much. When the opponent smashes, this paddle lets me return the smash pretty well. I'm so glad I got back into ping pong...it's such a fun game to play...and all in all this paddle has done really well to help me get back into the swing (yes, pun intended) of things!

Great for the price

The shape of the handle at the top, made holding the bat in a shake hand grip difficult. This is of a personal preference and might be fine for others. I got butterfly's Timo boll platinum bat instead.
