Excellent multitool
I bought this recently as a gift for a friend who had helped me a lot during a refurb job in my home. Ok this is one of the cheapest multi tools if not the cheapest in the Leatherman range so the onboard tool choice is going to be more limited than the likes of the Wave or other models but don't let that put you off this is still a excellent bit of kit of the money. The pliers and the knife blade are of course the two main tools on the Rev and both like every Leatherman are excellent and come in incredibly handy all the time. The blade is non locking which is both good and bad... the good because it means it's legal to carry in the UK without risk of legal difficulties but also a non locking blade isn't ideal for safety reasons when using it but it is a excellent blade and razor sharp straight out of the box. The pliers are of course superb and they they also feature very handy wire cutter blades built in and the wire stripper feature works wonderfully. The rest of the tools feature a Philips head (star) screwdriver in roughly at a guess PZ2 size and a straight / flat / standard screwdriver. There is a file that doubles up as a very small tape measure, a bottle and can opener and a hook tool. Overall the tool is finished to a very good standard and no defects or flaws of any kind. It's very comfortable to use in the hand even over extended periods of time. So for anyone needing a basic but well designed and built multitool the Leatherman Rev is a excellent choice and they make great gifts too.

Leatherman Quality
I was looking for a lighter weight Leatherman for work - I use my Wave 20 times a day and would be lost without it, but it's maybe a bit on the heavy side. I mainly use a blade, pliers and a crosshead screwdriver, so something a bit simpler was in order. The LT175 fits the bill perfectly; it has a nice selection of tools but is noticeably lighter and a bit slimmer than the Wave. It's rounded shape feels very comfortable in use and of course it's built to the usual Leatherman quality. The integral belt clip is a nice touch and works well, although due to the folding design of the Leatherman it's on one side of the tool, so possibly feels a bit lopsided when hooked on a belt or pocket. The locking blade feels sharp enough to shave with if you were inclined, and if it's the same quality steel as my other Leathermans will hold it's edge well. The pliers are a bit chunkier than the Wave's, so less suited for finer gripping operations, but perfect for a quick bolt loosening or such. The LT175 is supplied in a nice cardboard box, with instruction leaflet. Highly recommended.

Great little tool for everyday use
Can't fault this at all. I have more than one swiss army knife and I've always gone for that type of tool in the past but recently I've found myself wishing they included a decent set of pliers so I decided to try a leatherman and I am not at all disappointed. I'm sure there are models with much more functions but this has everything I have needed so far. The knife is a pleasure to use and locks safely, the screwdrivers are actually useful and the pliers are fantastic.

Leatherman quality
As good as any other leatherman you could want. I have 3 different multitools by leatherman and use them all frequently. All the tools are well built and assembled, high quality as you'd expect and with the Leatherman 25 year guarantee, you can't go wrong.

Great for the price
I converted from Gerber to Leatherman after losing my multi tool. Do not regret my decision at all. The pliers are strong with a good wire cutting blade, the main knife is super sharp. The nifty package opener is sharp and has a few practical uses. Screw drivers are useable, the larger flat head is probably a little thick but smaller one make up for it. Tin opener worked a treat on a camping trip after forgetting the trusty one which was left at home. What I’d say could be improved: The pliers have no spring action which would have been helpful and when cutting steel wire the lack of a spring can sometimes struggle. Lack of a saw is a bit disappointing, it would have made these a 5 star for me as I can put up with the above. Overall great for the price and a very handy tool to have on you

Best Multi Tool
At the time, I got the sidekick for fairly decent price. I liked the weight of it, good for handling. Good entry level tool for day to day use, especially if you’re handy
