My last charger appeared to be similar to this in terms of functions but started to behave unusually in that it would take a long time to charge batteries a really long time to test them so got this as a replacement.Despite having the same functions as my old one it was much easier to use and change mode and when I retested some of the batteries my old one said had failed (I'd not disposed of them because I knew some were not that old and it's what made me distrust my old charger) reported them as fine.With a minimum charge current of 500mA charge time is quite short and even on a standard charge it displays how many mAh has been used to charge the battery up to full capacity.If you haven't used one of these chargers before the test function is invaluable and will fully charge the battery then discharge it to measure its total capacity, then charge the battery back up after. It's ideal for finding out if your rechargeable batteries are past their best.It does also charge 18650 batteries so I broke open some old laptop battery packs, took out the batteries and tested them to find they were mostly fine and could be used in other things.Not the cheapest of chargers but if you use a lot of rechargeable batteries (and it does make sense for a lot of things, especially as they have such high capacities and don't self discharge like they used to) something like this should be on your shopping list.

I am so happy with the T5 charger. The 4-slot charger can charge various types of batteries and it has no problems charging my 18650, AA, and AAA batteries that I purchased it for.For the price I paid the features are incredible. Not only does this charge batteries you can also discharge batteries and test batteries. This mode is perfect to find out is your rechargeable batteries are still good.The display is nice and big and easy to read you can also change the charge current from 500mA – 2000mAh – I find leaving the charge set at either 500 or 1000mAh charges most batteries just fine. It comes with a UK power supply and easy to read instructions. I have tested the accuracy using branded batteries and this charges them perfect and to he correct mAh. Happy with this charger top quality.

I was led to believe it charges 4 four C batteries at one time? Not True! It can only charge three at a time!Ok? I've got over it!So far I've recharged various batteries several time and it's still working!27th July2021. Charger still charging without a problem!!I use the charger weekly, every week since i bought it.

I needed a charger that could charge 4 x 18650 3.7v Li-Ion batteries used in my head torch and I haven't been disappointed by the performance of this charger.It can handle a huge variety of batteries and types, including Li-Ion and NiMh AAA to D cell, plus others.The display provides information on the charge rate, voltage, milliamps per hour. Has options for fast charging as well.It seems to keep my batteries in tip top condition and is able to discharge and test the batteries as well. Simple to use and has provided good service over the last 12 months.Well worth investing in.

build quality is good, fairly easy to use without reading the manual, discharges all 4 slots at 500mA, charging default 500 mA, you can select to charge at either 500,1000, 1500 or 2000 mA. You get charger and power supply. Display lights up when you press a button then turns off after short period but the display is always on. Information given battery type, total mah, time and resistance (I think).The test function basically charges battery to full. resets mah counter, then discharges which is how it gets it capacity reading, then at cut off voltage it charges back to max. The mah reading on the display after discharge stays locked when it goes into the charge cycle.If you have battery in slot 4 while unplugged becomes a powerbank. (Usb appears on display)overall very good unit

Does exactly as it's ad quotes will charge & check all your batteries but will also show up bad ones if it says their bad they are I put a few through there paces & lots failed but the ones that charged charged well & in good time. It is not recommended to fast charge often it is better to do them at normal pace batteries will last better this way. also allow the charger to dis charge a battery fully periodically in order to preserve battery capacity to max as partially charging to often can damage the cell memory. had this since 2019I've used it frequently to charge my 18650 / 21700 vaping and torch batteries

A very nice piece until you plug it in put in two old batteries and it proceeded to charge them all is good, then had a little play with the mode switch screen went blank then started to re appear but very patchy like the lcd was bleeding. Left it a couple of min and it came back OK. So then put in 2 brand new batterys it would not recognise them kept coming up null, pressed the mode button screen went blank came back like before lcd bleeding 🤔 it's going straight back.
