I bought this on Oct 11th. Switch broke on Nov 12th, and the return option had disappeared. Cheap molded plastic which broke off on the lever. Shame, because it's small, nice & quiet, and torquey. I fixed it myself.Update: the screwdriver failed again so I tossed it. The next day, the seller contacted me, asking how this product was. I told them about my experience. I was advised that this unit had a 24-month warranty (that I was unaware of). When I told them I had already disposed of the item, they apologized profusely, refunded the full purchase price, and sent me a gift of screwdriver bits.Shame about the product and not knowing about the long warranty (even if it was my fault) but this seller stepped up and backed their product fully and then some.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  UPDATE 5/22/2019Got a replacement through Amazon's return policy and even talked in touch with DY direct's customer service and I'm happy to say along with their excellent customer service I've got a fully working electric screwdriver and a proper working LED.I forgot to mention before that it comes with an excellent set of bits, not the most sturdy but it comes with an organized case containing philips, flathead, square, Pozidriv, and torx security bits. I'll definitely be carrying this around 👍I do wish the LED would stay on for a second like my old hammerhead/skil electric screwdriver did but suffice to say at least I have an LED on it and it has a really useful torque limiter unlike the old tool.OLD REVIEW:The front LED doesn't turn on while activating the device, which is the primary reason I got this screwdriver. I'll report back if I get a fully functioning device but for now it's getting returned.

It does not have the power to screw anything in or out. Too bad it looked solid and per the reviews like it was a real product. I went to Home Depot and found it and it works fine. I think the reviews were fraudulent not surprised , but disappointed for wasting my time. Amazon does not protect customers from bad products anymore.

I have several products from TACKLIFE (2 sanders/Hand tools/bits/ect.)and can say this is by far the worst product i have tried to purchase. I say try because TACKLIFE has been unable to send me a functioning model. Have received two of these and both have arrived DOA. Charged both overnight, tried different outlets and connections to the charger and still cannot even get the light at the bottom of the handle to turn on. Now have been told they will not send another and am being forced to accept a refund. Bought this for a project b/c i like to feature of flex position and diff. torque settings but DO NOT think I will buy again since TACKLIFE would rather make me take a refund than send out a functioning product. Reading other review this is a common occurrence but usually gets sorted out after the 1st return.

I would love to tell you how this screwdriver works but I can't because it came WITHOUT THE CHARGING CORD!!!!!!! I called Amazon, they told me to deal with the seller, well, that went no where. So, for now, I have a paperweight, shaped like a cordless drill that just lays there.I found another cord that fits and the screwdriver lights up green but doesn't work. The booklet that comes with this item is just plain stupid, no instructions at all. My next plan is to find a screwdriver that fits this piece of junk and look to see if there is a lithium battery in it.Really? Is it that hard to provide the cord when it is shown on the site it comes with one and is that hard to write an instruction booklet with font big enough that you don't need a magnifying glass??What a waste of money and poor customer service.

Out of the box it had enough charge for me to test it out. Tried several of the heads and unscrewed and screwed in different items. Then proceeded to test it out for what I really wanted it for.My main desire was to have a low cost electric screw driver to act as my bobbin winder for weaving. With a chuck I bought from a weaving shop along with this screwdriver I have the perfect electric bobbin winder. An electric bobbin winder for weaving cost in the neighbor hood of $250, a manual one cost in the neighborhood of $150. I spent $27 on this screwdriver and $10 on a chuck, now I have an electric bobbin winder for $37. Yay!

Cannot get the thing to even charge

Worked great right out of the box and I used it on the job I bought it for originally. Second time I tried it, it was dead and will not charge. Charge light is green but it won't work. I disassembled it and tried a new battery directly to the motor wires and it turned fine, attached the battery to the battery points on the PCB and nothing. Cheap electronics. Too bad, could be a decent unit.
