NYX Women's Cosmetics Multicoloured One Size

Didn't even want this colour chose 19 and this came. Way to dark.

It's awesome, especially for the price, but it's VERY dark. This isn't a problem for me, because I'm partial to dark lipstick and I love it, but sometimes it would look nearly black, which might deter others from this kind of lipstick. I love it though, and it was less creamy at first than I expected. It seems to be kind of a double coat lipstick, with the first coat being more purple and splotchy, but after done applying, it's a lovely solid color. As for longevity, take this with a grain of salt, because I haven't had the chance to test it out yet, but it doesn't seem to dry to the lips, which means it's moisturizing but also not particularly long lasting. I did notice that after a couple of minutes of applying, the lipstick became creamier and thicker on my lips, so it may becoming long lasting after waiting a little while.

I have learned a valuable lesson, this transfers but will stay to whatever it is transferred to. My white winter coat is ruined after a day with this stuff on my lips. I like the color though, just won't wear it with white ever again. It is a purplish black instead of a blackish purple and absolutely beautiful. Had to scrub it off my lips the next morning, now they're exfoliates for the next time I wear it. 😉

I ordered this product because I was familiar with the brand and it had an awesome sale going on. The first thing I noticed when I received it was that it was much darker than what I was expecting. The color is beautiful and still looks good, but it is so dark it looks nearly black in some lights. The product is not really moisturizing at all. It is easy to apply and goes on fairly smoothly. However, once it dried, it left my lips feeling slightly tight and almost sticky. I felt like I had to apply a moisturizing chapstick after removing it. The color didn't necessarily smudge while I wore it. It did seem to transfer to every surface that came in contact with it though. Even after wearing it for about an hour, it was still coming off onto my drinking glass and even my hand. Despite coming off on everything that made contact with it, it did manage to last for a couple of hours before most of it had transfered off onto other surfaces. Something like this would probably be great for a quick party or trick or treating but if you are looking for something to last for a bit, I wouldn't recommend it.

It's a little thin in consistency for 'cream' but for the price, it's what is expected. Not something you can apply once because it can be streaky if not applied more than once. I'm brown skinned so I don't feel like it's too dark or washes me out. I wanted to step out of my usual wheelhouse of colors and with the price, color and consistency considered, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Couldn't get this off or throw the tube away fast enough. And instantly found myself worried for the environment once I did. This instantly dried out and burned my lips. Simply. Awful. Additionally, attempted to contact NYX via their website and had an awful experience with either their AI masquerading as human beings, or human beings who have some seriously bizarre issues. I would encourage you to avoid NYX in general. And most definitely avoid this lipstick.
