My realtor friend had some boxes that he forgot the combination to. He just gave them to me since he had no use for them. I used these to decode the combination. There are three sizes, and one of them fit along the side of the combo dial. Once I found the right spot, I did it for each number. Then I tested 10 combinations. One of them worked so I have given the boxes back to him since I have no need for these. The steel is flexible and does bend so you have to be cautious. I tried to use it as a shim for a padlock but it didn’t work, and the steel bent a little. You should only be using these on your own locks, not locks that you don’t own.

Works great with a little practice Some of these 4 dial locks are a little hard to slide this all the way in but usually if you turn dial #3 from the left to just the right spot this tool will slip in to where you need it to work

Excellent for unlocking several types of dial type locks. Very thin and fragile, but these can shim when needed!

Now that I'm thinking about it the main issue here is gripping these while working on a lock is a pain... I wish they'd either included a grip, or made the handle portion a bit larger or textured so you could grip it better.

I have 5 Stars because they arrived on time and in good condition plus they were cheap. They just didn’t work for what I needed them for, yet nothing wrong with the product.

Only one of the three are very thin. The other two are about twice as thick or more. However the ML 175 I bought these for, is too tight between the dials for even the very thin one. Cannot decode or bypass it. Perhaps older 175’s had more clearance? I don’t know but this one is way to tight. The thicker ones are good for unshielded lock bypassing, perhaps even the cheaper dial locks, but no way will the other two work on a ML175…

Didn’t do the job, but a mallet worked first try
