Great book with some printing errors.
Some background: I took the GRE about 8 months ago so I have an idea of the level of difficulty of the real test. I just graduated from college in May 2014. The only math classes I had taken in college were a calculus and research methods course. I briefly went through the ETS prep book before the last test.I scored unsatisfactorily 8 months ago on the quant. reasoning section because I didn't review basic concepts that I hadn't studied since high school. I also found the ETS book to be overwhelming last time, which is why I bought this book. The positives: This book is great so far. It covers basic concepts and shows how they are applied on the GRE. They are turning what was originally a confusingly-worded test into one that can easily be broken down by using basic concepts. There are many practice problems, which is great. Quite surprisingly, I rather enjoy studying for the test now even though I do not particularly care for math. The negatives: There are some print errors. Page 44 of Chapter 3 jumbled up some of the answers so I thought I got the answers wrong at first. There was another typo somewhere in the book that said 3/4= 0.85 as opposed to 0.75, I can't remember which page. Another problem seemed RIDICULOUSLY hard and it turned out that only one of the two equations were provided in the question. The second one had accidentally been left out and not printed on the page. So there was inadequate information to solve the problem. That has made me apprehensive going forward that there will be a mistake that I will not catch and that I will learn incorrectly. That being said, this has GREAT tips for test-taking. The explanations are easy to follow and I am already confident that I will score significantly higher than I did 8 months ago. I am about halfway through the book and the errors that I have caught were simple errors. I don't think that they have impeded my learning progress.Overall, I highly recommend this book and I like it better than the ETS book.

Pro-Trump Brand! Do not buy anything from them!
Page 25, there is a "Confidence Quote" from Donald Trump, a "Billionaire Entrepreneur" who does not pay tax and support white supremacists! Do not give money to this company that obviously support TRUMP and White supremacist! Their HQ is in Charleston...Period.

Good
This could have better step by step explanations. But over all good and recommended to me by a lot of friends who have taken the GRE

Errors throughout the book
First off, this book gives some pretty decent information. That I have no problem with. What makes this book worthy of only 2 stars is that it seems like no one proof read it before sending it to be mass produced. I'm on page 152, and so far I've found multiple errors:-pg 44 in the left column all the numbers are off making it impossible to decipher-pg 61 -0.3×-0.2=.6 , the correct answer should be .06-pg 116 in a practice set (where it's most important to have your information correct) question 4 completely omits important information stating "the sum of x and y is 1 and their difference is __" it wasn't until I turned to the answer section that I found out that the blank was meant to say 1/2. Causing the question to become unsolvable-pg 124, it states that 7/4 is 1.85. Last time I checked, anything divided by four is a multiple of 0.25. The answer should be 1.75-pg 152 has an example question in which is states that line-RT=line-TS. In the explination, however it says RT=TU.For the most part, I understand what the writers are saying, with the exception of the error within the practice problem; however these errors are distracting and as I work through the book I'm sure I'll catch more. It seems to me that if you are going to market a book to help people study for an important exam, you should at least proof - read your product.

Good Book
I believe that the quantitative review that this bible bring is pretty good. I have received the 2019 edition of the book. The author did a great job in really addressing the different types of math material that could be on the GRE and how frequent each type of math is used on the GRE. I do believe that the "Application to the GRE" sections are good for those who may need to understand how the material is used by the authors of the test itself.I was able to use this book for a short period but did not receive any improvement the second time I took the test after studying this book. I believe that the math questions in this book could be better by supplying questions that would be more identical with the questions on the actually GRE with respect to how each math subject is addressed on the test. I believe that if I had more time, I would have improved my score. However, if there were more questions and questions that related more identical with the test day questions, I would give this test prep a higher rating.

a questions book rather a bible
most are questions with limited focus on strategies.

The book makes some good points, but includes a lot of extra things ...
Stay away from this book. Bought this book and the Verbal Reasoning boom and got a 147 and 151 respectively. The book makes some good points, but includes a lot of extra things that weren't even tested on the test. Also, their problems were so basic that I didn't get a realistic sense of what was on the test until I got to the Offical GRE question book by ETS - the makers of the GRE. They just recently came out with a 2016 edition of this book months after I bought the old book that was riddled with typos. It shouldn't have taken them 4 years to correct that. To me that showed a disregard for us as their customers for them to sell us an inferior product. All in all if I have to take it again to get into my school (not likely because of alternative admissions options) I definitely will not be going with PowerScore. I can't imagine being in a situation where my GRE scores were absolutely necessary and having my success depend on this book.
