I have a carbon fiber anti-static brush that I use for most of my records, but occasionally the pressure will cause the platter to spin; that's when I pull this brush out. Yes, it will cause some static, but its very soft and fine bristles do a great job of picking up small particles that my carbon brush misses frequently. I was skeptical at first due to the low price, but it is really well made, doesn't shed bristles, and is unbelievably soft. I have no worries about it scratching my vinyl. Even if you have a good brush, this should be added to your setup to get what the others just can't.One thing I did notice is that this is not great at picking up fibers/hair. If you have pets, this brush will likely need to be used as a second-stage cleaner as only a carbon fiber brush will pick up these.

I'm a DJ and I play a lot of vinyl. I have quite the collection going. I love my vinyl records and cherish them. My home gets a lot of dust, and I have a dog and cat. This brush gets my records nice and clean before I play them. I swipe is all across the record and around the grooves, so that the bristles can get into the grooves and clean out any dust that may be hiding in there. It gets the records dust and pet hair free, and I'm very happy with my purchase. The handle on it is very nice to the touch and the rubber grip is a great addition. I highly recommend this to any vinyl DJ looking to keep your records in good shape for when you play them, or just a vinyl enthusiast with only one turntable who loves listening to records. This is the perfect tool when your record just need a light brush for any dust/lint that may have been picked up./ I find I can use this for most of my records without the need to a spray clean.

This is such a brilliant brush and you can go so light over your records and it picks up all the little bits of dust and fine grit that you get in the groves and it makes your records sound so nice
