This socket extender meets my needs. I checked the descriptions and reviews before purchasing, expecting it to be hard to rotate. However, once I plugged it in and secured it as instructed, it rotated very easily. It also feels safer because you can’t rotate it when it’s disconnected from the socket! With its reasonable price, I plan to buy another one to place beside the bed in my other room.

They feel overpriced for an extension cord…. But it’s great for those places where a dangling cord would be unacceptable.

This is absolute JUNK, not worth the effort of returning, just return my money. If you want to remove it and don't want to tear the paint and drywall off your wall off by using the two sided tape provided, there are to small screw holes but no hardware provided and any self provided screw is too thick to fit into the slots. You might be able to take it apart and modify the holes to fit a standard screw but I haven't tried that yet because it takes a special security screwdriver bit to disassemble it which, although I have it, I'm not going to waste my time. The plug head is so large that once plugged into the wall receptacle it blocks the other receptacle. The plug head does NOT rotate as advertised, I tried and bent the prongs. I was thinking of disassembling the plug end to see if I could fix it but again, it takes a special security screwdriver bit to do that. I don't know how anyone could give this product anything but one star. I'm thinking this was designed by a 16 yo apprentice just hired although I know I was designing better equipment when I was that age.

I returned it. It didn’t rotate.

After opening this product, I immediately noticed some things that left me feeling unoptimistic. Right off the bat, some of the corners are quite sharp, and I scratched my hand just taking it out of the box. Additionally, the edges of the cutouts around the USB ports are rough and uneven, which is concerning. While the plug does rotate like it says, it is very, very stiff and hard to turn. I was worried my outlet was going to break before the plug rotated. To its credit, it was able to power a space heater on medium (well within the rated capacity) for over an hour without becoming warm to the touch. However, there is a small light on the unit with a shield icon, implying surge protection, a feature that is not mentioned anywhere in the literature or listing. I took a peek inside and found that, like expected, there is no surge protection. Overall, this power strip does what it says on the box, but the fit and finish leave much to be desired.
