Kotobukiya Marvel Comics ArtFX+ Hulk Statue

This was my first Kotobukiya product. I think it is a bit pricey given that it is mass produced and has been on the market for something like ten years, but they push on the fact that it is a Japanese import, which I suppose causes it to cost a bit more... (although all the packaging is in English so clearly meant for this market... and isn't everything imported from China or somewhere these days anyway?) Anyway, enough griping about cost. I decided to pick it up because it is one of the better Hulk sculpts I have seen and I thought it might fit in nicely with my Bowen collection. And I have to say, it looks just as good in person as in the marketing materials. Nice weight to it, very sturdy, stands up very well, and looks great on the shelf with the Bowens. I've already ordered my next Kotobukiya and it arrives next week, likely won't be the last!

Do not Buy this Hulk on EBay for cheaper unless it’s for a child that just wants to play with the figure , I display all my figures and the one I ordered on EBay for $50 is a knock off version from China and took for ever to get I was so upset when I opened and it looked nothing like the pictures, so I went ahead and bought the real one on amazon for $129 to me it’s worth every penny to display the real one it looks that much better the other one looks to yellowish I mean the sculpture is good just the face doesn’t have that much detail like the real one ,also the fake ones arms have to be put on and you can see the lines in them as shown in my photos , The box it comes in is from Japan which is the real manufacturer which is show on the left in my photos the fake one is from China and the box is shown on the right ......The real hulk in the photos are on the right and has magnets on its feet for display with the base it comes with the fake hulk on the left had no magnetic feet and comes with no magnet base ,like I said it’s not bad if it’s for a kid , but I display all the realistic characters and expect to get exactly what I see in the photos as advertise when you buy from EBay you might be getting it cheaper but it’s definitely coming from a sweatshop ,so happy I ordered the real one , I will be returning the knock off hulk for a refund

I recently received this statue and it's great, I can't believe some people are not giving this 5 stars. The statue looks amazing. Great detail to it, the base is magnetic and it sits on it just fine. This is not a toy, it is not meant for you to shake it or play with it. I have it next to my other statues and people love how it looks. I can't wait for captain America and Thor to come out. This is a must collection for any Marvel fan, any super hero fan and any collector.

This is a very detailed and great looking statue to own. Kotobukiya did an exceptional job in making every muscle and vein pop out on the jade giant. The head sculpt brings out the anger and he looks like he's ready to throw down. Just like the other Marvel NOW Avengers assembly is required. When put together Hulk stands at about 10". If you're looking for an awesome and affordable Hulk statue I recommend this one!

A very impressive statue indeed. The pictures really do not do it complete justice. It looks better when you see it in person. I had been eying this statue since it was first available as a pre-order item. Now that I finally have it I am very pleased with it. It comes in three separate pieces that fit very well together as soon as I removed it from the box. It has a nice heft to it as well. The detail of the sculpture is by far one fo the best I have ever seen. It is not a cold procelain statue but it stands proudly next to higher priced statues in my collection. It came with two separate black bases that are placed each under one foot instead of one lone piece but I found no problem when it came time to pose the figure. And I can attest that it looks great wherever I place it. For the price it is definitely a solid deal that I do not regret. I am looking forward to the rest of the AVENGERS NOW figures that are planned to be released in 2014. I very highly recommend that all fans of the HULK and AVENGERS get one.

I've read some buyers complained about the magnets on the feet on this one. It didn't bother me, u can use the "split" base to stabilize stance or not use it, either way i think this piece will hold up...the Sculp detail on this one is amazing, it's my first kotobukiya figure and i'm pretty impressed by it. I thought it has all the comic-book feel to it, the scale is not that big though but it looks really cool on my desktop with my other collections. I'm a hot toys collector as well and i preferred this hulk than the hot toys version. I didn't give it 5 stars since i'm sure there's some nit-picky stuff i'd failed to mention or overlooked somewhere i just can't point it out for now. lol. If ur a first time "fancy" toy or kotobukiya toy collector this is a really good introduction to ur "library" or it may just be ur only priced possession as a geek that u can appreciate for a long time. And come to think of it, everyone else has something on their box u have a hulk! =) #urwelcome

Statue vraiment bien fini, super achat

I bought this monstorous hulk as a gift for my husband, who is a huge superheros fan and has been wanting to buy a kotobukiya figurine for a long time. He absolutely loved the product. The detailing and finishing is brilliant and the action figure is of a decent size. Considering kotobukiya, it would have been nicer had it got a few changes of expressions or posture attachments. The package was delivered with care and perfection... and was delivered before time.

Ich baue mir gerade eine kleine Sammlung von Figuren auf und ich denke der Hulk wird immer das Kronjuwel bleiben. Lieferdauer war OK, aber im Zeitfenster was Amazon angegeben hat. Die Figur kommt in Einzelteilen. Den Kopf, sowie Oberkörper und Becken muss man selber zusammenstecken. Hier sieht man dann unter Umständen eine Fuge, mich stört es aber nicht. Die Arme und Beine wurden schon vom Hersteller angebracht und ein Teil dieser Fugen mit Farbe übermalt. Bei mir wurden die Armfugen übermalt, die Beinfugen sind ziemlich gut durch die Hose verdeckt. Insgesamt schöne Details in Form von Muskeln und Adern, sowie eine makellose Bemalung. Schöne Größe und Gewicht und definitiv eine Empfehlung für jeden Sammler oder Hulk-Fan. In den Fußsohlen sind Magnete eingearbeitet um einen besseren Stand auf den auch magnetischen Sockeln zu haben. Der Hulk steht aber auch ohne Sockel sehr gut. Ich habe den Hulk für ca. 70€ erstanden und kann mich daran nur erfreuen.
