As Advertised !!!
Perfect! Just as advertised. I thought the speed was perfect for our Disco Dance Party. The only drawback is it is designed to be screwed to a board. Not suspended.

It's real fast at 6RPM
The unit was well built and worked as advertised. 6RPM is way too fast. I bought the 1RPM and 3RPM. They were both much better speed.

Spins wayyyy too fast for smaller balls
It’ll make you dizzy if you put a 8” ball on it. Might be better for a large one

Great little motor
I put this on my new lure turner/UV cure box today. Works like a charm, turning at 5-6 rpm. Plenty of power, quiet and well built for the money.

It worked fine
Let me just start by saying I bought this for a Halloween prop, not a disco ball. It worked as described, I just thought it have had a bit more torque. I didn't use it for that reason, however I imagine it would be fine with a disco ball, and FYI if you over load the torque it will just switch directions on you.

Too fast.
Classic disco ball effect needs more like 1-2RPM tops. This is 5RPM - it's just dizzying and not the same effect. Mine came in a kit with a mirror ball and pin spots. I bought the 2RPM motor to use instead, which I find just about right, but the 1RPM model wouldn't be bad either.
