Great book but ....
The book's content is great. It covers the great classical yoga text including the original Sanskrit text. However, the quality of the paper is not good. I am afraid that I received a pirated copy. I have a few other Bihar Yoga books and none of those had such low quality paper. The book has 2012 written as the year of publication, does not mention any year of reprint and the pages smell of brand new paper. I had received from the seller named Just Read.

I prostrate before Maharishi Gheranda. Must for every serious Yoga aspirants(beginners/advanced)
I have been practicing Yoga for last 2 years. I have been using Asna Pranayama Mudra and Bandha by BYS. Gheranda Samhita as some of you might know is one of the four principal texts in Hatha Yoga, others being Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Shiva Samhita, and Hatharatnavali. I have read Hatha Yoga Pradipika and compared it with Gheranda Samhita. I found out Gheranda Samhita to be a little better than Hatha Yoga Pradipika. For instance the number of Asanas in Hatha Yoga Pradipika is less than Gheranda Samhita. Sage Gheranda recommends 32 Asanas as most important among all asanas and must for this mortal plane. If anyone is confused among these two humongous Yoga texts, I would recommend you begin with Gheranda Samhita. After that you can and if serious, must go after Hatha Yoga Pradipika.
