It works for Forteo
It works! Yay! I use Forteo, which is an injectable medicine that needs to be kept refrigerated. FYI, the Forteo injection pen is about one inch in diameter, so it’s thicker than most insulin pens. I tried traveling with the Goldwheat Insulin Cooler Travel Case, which came with ice packs, but that system failed and med was room temperature within 8 hours. This Disoncare Odyssey Cooler actually works. I tried it first for 12 hours, and then for 24 hours, and it worked perfectly each time to keep the medication cold. You have to freeze the included ice pack for 6 to 8 hours, then let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes, and then put it in the thermos-style cooler alongside your medicine. They give you a little cloth bag to put your medicine in, so it’s not resting directly on the ice pack. The cloth bag was a little too snug for my Forteo pen so I just wrapped it in a piece of cloth Instead. Works just great!

WORKS! 10+ hour trip... KEPT THE SYRINGE CHILLED!
We used this for my daughter's medicine when we took a 9 hours flight to Kauai. We landed.. got out our place. so I would guess... 10 hours total trip? Somewhere around there. Was super nervous... And BOOM. It's CHILLED just like it said.. Great product for keeping chilled meds chilly.

works great. TSA will secondary screen though.
Worked perfectly. Flew from East to West coast, put it in my carry-on and it was still cold 14 hours later when I arrived at the hotel. TSA did open it both ways to see what was inside, but had no issues. So, if you don't mind having your bag "pulled" for additional screening at TSA, I suggest bringing it with you. If you're tight for time, put it in your checked bag.

Beware of using this out of country… check foreign rules.
Worked great… but be warned… if you don’t keep the medicine (injection, wtv) in the container (even though it’s been used and empty) you may not get to keep the gel pack when you fly back. I was leaving Cancun and they took the gel (even though I had the prescription, they kept saying I needed the medicine (even empty?) to keep the gel pack. So… bummer.

TSA will open and inspect causing loss of cold insulation.
The cooler works great but would work even better if TSA didn't let a lot of cooling out from insisting they open it and take all the contents out to inspect it (even after it went through scanner).

Kept wegovy cool for days
Worked great to keep the injector pen cool. Do take it out at tsa security, looks suspicious in a carry on bag, they needed to pull the bag and take a look, but it was fine.

Worked great for TSA
Excellent. Airport security in both USA and Mexico did not even ask me to open it...

This is a great diabetic supply travel accessory!
The cooler kept my diabetic supplies cold for the 2 days I was traveling. It worked great!! I couldn't give it five stars because with the cooler pack and three pens, the pens got trapped by the lip inside, and it took quite a bit of effort to get any pens out at that point. But it was a minor thing compared to how cold everything was kept for the 2 days without access to a fridge! Overall, I am very happy with everything.
