Smaller than expected but not a big disappointment. Love the hull camouflage.
The hull of the battleship model is shorter than expected. I felt 'short-changed' but only for a moment. I had expected the model to have the same length as the Tirpitz model from the same manufacturer (which is about 9 inches) but the Queen Elizabeth falls short by 2 inches. Look at the photographs (I don't know why they are upside down when I attached them) and you will see the difference in length when compared with models of the Tirpitz, Musashi, Roma and, in the third photo, the Strasbourg. It's seven inches in length. Size matters but so does the ship's camouflage pattern - love it. So, it's shorter than expected in length but there's no shortage in my fondness for this model of the Queen Elizabeth.
