Great product and price.
This map works very well in my Oregon 450, detail is clear and easily adequate for my country walks. Only one con I can see at the moment is it does not support 3D mapping, apparently due to insufficient contour details.Warrior193.

Adds extra detail to garmin base maps.
Price of product good compared to garmin. Used this for a new gps unit to show more detailed maps when navigating.

Good value for a very detailed whole UK map.
Works well in my Garmin Colorado 300 and Etrex Vista, with lots of detail shown, even down to small dykes, contour lines with spot heights and many field boundaries. Very good price, given the level of detail across the whole of UK.

Not as good as old Topo UK
The OS maps are helpful, but the implementation as I see it on my eTrex 30 has two major deficiencies. First, the OS data is slow to load, and it can be tedious scrolling to find somewhere - of course, since the screen is quite small, it can be hard to get an overall grasp of the area and scroll around to find a detail. Second, the data does NOT include postcode search, you have to know the street address to navigate to a place.A nice feature is that when you zoom out, you get to the OS 250K and then the route planner, all integrated.

Initially Really Pleased
Ordered this item for my Garmin Etrex 30x on 18th Jan received it today the 21st, put the micro SD card into my unit and it worked instantly, will be using it for hiking and early signs are very positive. The maps are very detailed, it shows the peaks, heights and contour lines including the distances. I had read on other maps that they don't work on Mac using basecamp, well I've not tried plotting a route yet but it certainly loads and seems to be working fine, the only thing that basecamp does not show on the map is the contour lines but that just might be how I've got it set up, however, its not a big problem as they do show up on the Garmin. Overall for the price its fantastic value, wouldn't hesitate buying more at this price. Thank you
