BG Products 44K Fuel System Cleaner - 3 Pack

An incredible fuel system cleaner!. It cleans my fuel system and keeps my 5.0 Ford F150 running great!. BG has incredible products and I use many of them religiously. The first time using this was back in 2007, when I decided to get my fuel injectors cleaned at a Valvoline as I was curious to see how they did fuel injection cleanings. First I had to make sure my fuel was below quarter tank(half a quarter tank) as this is helpful with cleaning tank and fuel line, please be advised that they will not perform this service if you have more than a half tank full of fuel. The mechanic will pop your hood to hook up the fuel injection canister and will put this product in your gas tank prior to filling the fuel injection canister (engine is off at this stage) as this treatment will mix with the fuel that left is in the tank, then the mechanic will fill the canister and direct you to start the engine; your vehicle will idle for a moment or two before the mechanic directs you to rev your engine and hold it for a brief moment then let idle, this will happen a couple of times or so and after that, you are done and now you can get gas and come back and they put the 3rd can in the tank and you're good to go(this is based on my experience in 2007, it may or may not have changed). I would say that my vehicle did perform better, I've gotten better fuel economy (my mpg went from 29 to 36 mpg***high miles*** on a full sized sedan-concorde), fuel throttle body response improved and power increased. I was able to maintain this by adding this product as a fuel treatment every oil change, this product is really awesome. ***This review describes my experience with my vehicle***

My 2009 Audi TTS was giving me a check engine code for O2 sensors. I replaced with brand new ones, but still got the check engine light, which indicated the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. 3 cans of this and...no more check engine light! So, yeah, I'm stoked. I'll update this if/when it comes back, though I do plan on getting a new catalytic converter as soon as reasonably possible.

I am using it on my 2020 Ram Rebel 5.7l Hemi. I start out with one can to a half tank of fuel. Then after driving very little for about a week I add another can and fill the gas tank. Then I drive normally until I am back to a half tank of fuel. Finally I add the third can and let it sit in the tank for a few days. When I start driving again is when I begin to notice a difference. Even though I have only 27k miles on the engine it runs like new. I add a can after oil changes for about 24 months before I start the 3 can regimen all over. Stuff is pricey but it works really well without question.

Unofficially recommended by Volvo dealer mechanics. If you take a lot of short trips without driving on the highway, carbon can build up on the fuel injectors without opportunity to burn it off. It won't solve all of your problems, but if you have occasional unexplained misfire codes or engine stutter, it really does the trick. Start with less than half a tank of gas. Add BG44K then drive 10-20 miles before fueling up. Drive normally and especially on the highway until you're below half a tank again. If you still have codes, do it again. Once cleared up, add a can every 6 months for preventative maintenance. Amazon seems to be the best place to buy it.

Added to full tank of gas on my 2006 V8 Explorer and after 1/4 tank the intermittent hesitation I had for 8 months is gone! Have been using this product for over 10 years and yes this stuff works! Highly recommend, worth the high price.
