If you know what it’s for, just buy it
This has been the show stopper of the party, and also has allowed me to elevate one of me favorite cocktails. Meet the old fashioned with a stout beer foam top. Also it will definitely save you tons of money on flavored spirits you only bought just to make a particular drink

So much to whip, so little time
Got mine (1 pint) from warehouse, so the price was more than fair and almost cheap considering how exceptionally well crafted this is. Yes, after you work in the price of nitrous canisters, it can be a bit pricey, but it's likely not something you'll use every day. And will be incredibly happy you have it on the days you do. There's many, many uses for it beyond whipped cream, but even if that's all you use it for it'll be the best whipped cream you've ever tasted. NOTE -- the 1 pint size will hold two cups of liquid and use 1 nitrous canister, which is likely more than enough for whatever you're making unless you're catering a large event. Whatever you make will store well for a while in a cold fridge, but remember the obvious -- if you make too much, and want to use it for something else, you lose the liquid and the nitrous the second you open it. So better to make a second batch of something if you really need it than waste the left overs.

Awesome Whipper
This feels like a professional chefs tool. It’s built strong and it’s very easy to clean and use! I know there’s a million uses for this whipper but I’m totally spoiled by making whipped cream for my ice cream sundaes! Please don’t laugh until you’ve tried it! Had to purchase three due to Amazon’s shipping issues but other than that it’s a fantastic tool and the seller is awesome for providing a wonderful product! Would recommend it!

Strong stainless steel and easy to use
I can tell I have bought a quality product. I love how sturdy this feels. Big plus because it's stainless steel and it's iSi brand. Honestly before looking into getting whip cream maker, I didn't know who iSi was. But after google searching for quality brand in that specific area, I found iSi filled the first page of results. Yes, it's a bit on the heavy side compared to aluminum, but I know it is strong and made to last. When you fill your whip cream maker, prior to use, you have to shake it a few times. I know if I shook it and dropped it, it would not have any dents in it. I wouldn't trust aluminum in that department. Especially with product that will have pressurized gas inside, and may go through accidental rough handling, stainless steel is definitely my choice in material. Grip on the top lid is nice. It's very easy and comfortable to dispense. It comes with 3 dispenser tips. 1x stainless steel tip for regular use. 2x for decorating. 1x brush for cleaning. 1 manual. It does NOT come with flavor injection tips for flavor injecting poultry and such. That would be nice, but I hardly will ever use it for that.Recipe I follow is as follows:1 Pint (2 cups), 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar (confectionery), 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.

Great whipper
I was nervous about trying a whipper and wanted to make sure I used a reputable brand given the dangers of working with compressed gas. Everything I expected. One pint was enough for a party with espresso con panna and dessert applications.

Top quality professional product
The Isi Gourmet Whips are top-of-the-line professional products. Of the negative reviews here, maybe one of them seemed the result of a defective product; the others are from users who were too lazy to figure out what they were doing. You should have at least a modest level of culinary knowledge, and some patience and curiosity, before buying one of these. They're not difficult to use. But they require attention to detail, and if you're going to deviate from tested recipes, you should understand the underlying principles, and be prepared for a few failed experiments.Chefs are using these things to death in top kitchens all over the world. You don't have think twice about the quality for use at home. It's comforting that Isi provides more than the usual amount of support, including a 2-year warranty, and worldwide distribution of spare parts. My one complaint is that you can't buy the bottles individually. ISI is acting like a bunch of greedy SOBs by not allowing this. We should be able to buy a single siphon head, and have both a half-liter and 1-liter bottle. As far as I can tell this isn't possible. If you want two sizes you have to shell out for two complete siphons.Of the various accessories, the one I'd most recommend is the funnel and strainer combo. It's really the perfect size for the Isi, and makes using the thing much easier. Using my regular funnels would make a lot of the routine tasks feel like a chore. The infusion kit probably only makes sense if you're a bartender, or if infusions are your primary use. It's pretty easy to accomplish this task without the kit; it's just a bit messier. Skip the injector nozzles unless you're sure you need them.Definitely get the Gourmet Whip rather than the Thermowhip unless you're a caterer and specifically need the insulated bottle. That model is much less versatile, as far as being able to chill mixtures or reheat them in the container. You'll find that many recipes and common procedures require chilling or heating after loading the Isi.Finally, do not cheap out and buy a different brand. They can be dangerous. A YouTube cooking personality recently blew her face off with an off-brand whipping siphon. The pressure is high; don't mess around.
