Extra Large Marine Foam Roll

Great product works as expected in good value.

I used it to wrap the ducting for my range hood in the cabinet above it. It helped cut down the noise a notch, about as much as I could expect from foam this thin. It came in a nice roll. I would have preferred it to be rolled in the other direction so that it would naturally conform to the pipe better based on which side has the adhesive, but I also understand that other people would want the opposite for different projects. Either way it’s nice and was easy to cut with a box knife and the adhesive is VERY sticky.

I'm using this to provide heat insulation and sun shade on the plexiglass escape hatch on my tractors. After cleaning the plexiglass with windex and allowing to dry, I measured, cut then applied the foam. It was fairly easy to apply, and this stuff is so sticky that you'll need to make sure you get it right the first time as it will not come off to reposition without tearing. So far, this is working great and the cab of my tractor is much cooler.

We have a golf simulator bay set up in our garage and didn’t want to install netting because it doesn’t look good. A few pop fly driver shots made holes in the ceiling and we knew we needed to put padding up. Got about 4 rolls of these. The adhesive didn’t last longer than a few days but we just screwed it in along the edges and it’s not going anywhere. No more golf ball holes.

Works great! We wrapped a galvanized tub with it. Stuck right to it, was easy to cut and work with. Filled the tub with ice to keep drinks cold. Product provided good insulation. No water from melting ice anymore. Thumbs up!

Very nice, but I ignored the reviews that said it was difficult to work with because it’s rolled so tightly. Well, it is! It took two of us holding, cutting and trying to put inside a plastic tote, trying to insulate it for a stray cat. It being rolled up made it very difficult to work with and to try to lay flat. I will look for sheets for the second one we’re making.

The foam is of good quality, and the adhesive backing is adequate for many applications. However, it doesn't adhere well to other foam. I got the foam to put on a CPAP machine to absorb sound waves, making it quieter. It performs that job well. I have also used the 0.25-inch thick closed-cell foam with upholstery leather backing to pad the outer socket of a prosthetic leg. It has served that function extremely well.

The adhesive backing on this stuff is amazing, it sticks down first application and does not budge. Make sure your placement is perfect the first time you put it down because that’s where it’s staying.

I used this in a sit-ski bucket. Works great. The adhesive is really sticky. It ships fast.
