This works, the best for dry eyes.
I have extremely dry eyes. This is the best on the market to use at night before you go to bed. You wake up with great feeling eyes & so moist. This is a 1st in over 10 years. I highly recommend it.

Sustained nighttime ointment is ok
If you have dry eyes and need a nighttime “specialized “ ointment for your eyes, Systane does ok. It is not as good as was the Retaine PM, before it got discontinued, but will do what your eye Dr. recommends for your dry eys when you are sleeping.

Dr. Recommended
My doctor recommended it use this every night before go to bed. Does feel a bit slimy and vision is blurry after use but doesn't last. Eyes feel great after a couple of blinks and it lasts all night. My eyes still feel a little gritty when I wake up but not like the sandpaper feeling I used to have. I couple this with the Systane eye drops and it makes a world of difference.

Maintain good vision.
I use it every night before bedtime to do my best to protect my eyesight. I have macular degeneration and dry eye. Dr. Recommended it to me.

Excellent consistency and good value
I had never used this product before, but I needed something to ease the irritation I get in my eyes after a long day in front of a computer screen, so I figured I'd give it a try. I was looking for an ointment rather than drops - ointments tend to be more soothing, even though they leave your vision blurred for a while after applying them. The texture and viscosity of the ointment is very good - no grittiness, and it hits that sweet spot right between too thick and too thin. The fact that it comes from Canada tells me that it's manufactured to a high standard, and it's less expensive than similar US-made products, so I'd have to say it's a good value. Even though this is a small tube, a little goes a long way, and I will probably need to replace it for safety concerns long before I've used it all up. (Safety tip - anything used on your eyes should be tossed out after about 4 - 6 months to avoid bacterial contamination.) And when I need to replace this, I will probably go back to the same brand.
