Find the little bag with the spacers they’re very important —they are not in with the main parts
This is very well-made and the design is well engineered.. the video is helpful. However there were spacers that were separately placed in a small bag that are necessary!I don’t know if it was an afterthought but they should be in the main bag because I put the whole thing together and looked and saw these two spacers in a separate small bag with the words import on them. You would think if something was important it would be in the main bag of parts and not in a separate little bag at the bottom of the box.Once I found I needed the spacers— that were in that little separate bag— I had to remove the entire seat to place the spacers correctly and reattach it.Not a big deal but they should have thought that through a little better especially not even mentioning getting in the instructions except for a reference but not stating about the separate little bag.Overall it’s a great idea a wonderful seat and I highly recommend it just make sure you use those spacers to keep the toilet seat level in the back!

Does a great job for what we needed it for
While this toilet seat is definitely not for everyone, it serves a very specific purpose in our home. The quality is excellent, and installation is easy. Very happy with this purchase.

Comfortable and well built! Pricey but worth every penny!!!
If you're on the fence, get off and buy this! Virtually all the others are plastic injection molded and cheaply thin, not to mention aren't stable on the toilet bowl rim! And they look ugly as well, sticking out like a sore thumb.I can't say enough about the quality fit and finish of this raised toilet seat! A no brainer to install and comes with all steel hardware! Did I say "steel hardware"? No cheap plastic nuts and screws that don't hold things in place, stripe the threads, or simply break looking at them! This one's solid, doesn't flex, and has some weight/heft to it. No lite weight paper thin plastic here. It mounts rock-solid and doesn't move when you have to maneuver to clean up your behind. The added height gets you up to were things aren't swimming and you can stand up without feeling like your climbing out of a hole. It's easily one of, if not the, most comfortable seats I've ever had the pleasure of parking my derriere on! No cutting the circulation off or feeling your bones, even when repositioning yourself or getting up. It truly is comfortable as these things go. No ridges or angles to bother you while doing time on your throne. It may cost 2-3 times what others do, but your derriere will thank you (no pun intended ;-). Some things just aren't worth saving a buck or two over. The only thing I wish is I had bought this years ago! It's $300-500 less than a new commode and basically serves the same purpose! SO happy I bought this one. Light years ahead of others, hands down. No more squirming from discomfort or dunking things unexpectedly in the pool. Especially in warmer weather! Got it? Get it! You won't regret it.

Upgrade your fasteners if you receive the plastic nut version
If you received this item with the original hardware (plastic nuts to hold the seat in place) you should upgrade the fasteners immediately if you are having issue with the seat working loose. Take your seating bolt the your friendly hardware store and replace the two plastic nuts with a suitably sized fiber washer, flat washer, lock washer and nut for each side. My replacements cost less than $2 for a pair; mine were sized at 9/16th, but make sure they fit the bolt you have. This is the hardware the company now provides, but no mention of the change to previous buyers and the plastic nuts are easily stripped when installing/reinstalling the seat. Otherwise, seat is wonderful and would have received five stars if not for the cheap nuts. Just make sure the seat is securely fastened down before using.

Goldilocks would be impressed
My husband is paralyzed on his left side, which makes getting up and down on a standard height commode challenging. But a Hi-John is too high, leaving his feet dangling like a child, and doesn't feel secure. Getting an over-the-commode chair doesn't always fit small bathrooms. Our local medical supply store didn't have anything that would work.So we browsed Amazon til we found this, and it was like Baby Bear's chair. It was the right height, it fastened securely to the commode but can just as easily be removed if no longer needed, and it is easy to clean. There's no huge gap for those whose aim is less than a bullseye. We bought a second one for another bathroom for convenience, but it works just as well for me, who is 7 inches shorter then he.

It’s great when you get it together, right but no instructions
The instructions were not clear. It did not tell how to put the lid on it all and we took it apart three times to get it together right it’s a wonderful toilet seat but needs better instructions
