This was my first experience with induction and now I wish I had a kitchen full of them! I use my cast iron grill for steaks and pork chops and it's as good or better the the local restaurants (and cheaper)! The "sear" setting can be controlled by temps all the way from 195 up to 450 degrees which also makes it perfect for deep frying. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!! This is an awesome device. Will heat a pan up faster than Hillary can tell a lie. Bought the Amazon basics 10 piece induction set to go along with this. All of the pans work flawlessly with this cooktop. Cast iron, no problems. Just make sure the bottom of you pan or pot is a minimum of 4 inches and a maximum of seven and a half.

its 110 volts not 220 volts is no good on Australian power no where there does it hint at only being 110 hence its no bloody use here at all to light for a door stopand return postage is $72.60 so if your selling to Australia can you make sure its going to work there

Performs well. Would prefer a dial, instead of preset temps with buttons.

great. My only issue is temp. Doen't go above 450.

I loved this product...easier to clean than a stove top. I also used it as warmer during a party.

While the kitchen was being remodeled, this was a lifesaver. With a crockpot and a microwave, I was in business the whole time.

This works for 2 minutes then shuts down.
