Fly Racing Maverik Boot

If you're just starting out and don't want to break the bank on a set of boots, start with these. We don't race motocross, but we do ride dirtbikes pretty hard on sandy/bumpy trails. The size runs kind of small; I wear a 10 1/2 to 11 and my son wears a 12. I ordered a size 12 and the boots fit me perfectly and just a little tight on my son. They are easier to walk in than my Fox Racing boots, there is more flexibility in the ankle, but not so much I'm worried about its safety. They are thick and padded well without being too bulky. The binders aren't bullet proof but we haven't had any issues yet. Looks like they can be easily replaced if needed.

Let me start by saying I did not keep these—I ended up returning them. That said, putting aside the reason for the return, I can say this is a solid motorcycle boot for the price, especially if you’re willing to adapt to it. Pros: Feels very durable and protective Good value for the money Cons: Feels very “plastic”—a lot of hard plastic and rubber Not very comfortable, at least out of the box Overall, if you can’t afford a higher-end boot, this is not a bad option. It may not be the most comfortable, but it gets the job done and offers decent protection for the price.
