Spell of Desire, Vol. 2

I loved this book as a teenager (this is a sexual manga not for kids) it’s a great story and the explanation of their feelings for each other and she finally makes a choice it’s exiting and I loved it

Manga came in perfect condition!

One of my favorite manga artists. I was so excited to find out that this series was licensed and complete because I prefer to read the whole story all at once and not wait for chapters or volumes to come out.

So, Kaname and Koko love each other? I'm wondering if Koko has her own power, maybe she can will both white and black magic. Let's see where this next volume takes us.

Love Tomu Ohmi's work. The art is so beautifully done and the story is great so far. Can't wait for the next one to be available for download! Highly recommend all work by this author.

Another great installment

Although the character development is a bit slow, the interest builds as to the fate and relationship of Kaoruko and Kaname. The art and the road to romance is what Ohmi readers would come to expect. Viz, thanks for licensing this series would be nice if you offer it in e-book format.

~3.5-4/5 Midnight Secretary left me unsure of continuing Ohmi’s works, and the first volume of this series didn’t grab me immediately. But this volume was actually a step up, I’m happy to report. I think the attraction between the couple has a hard time grabbing me, but it’s starting to work here. Kaname is starting to accept his feelings for Kaoruko, just as she is for him. That’s one thing that bothered me in the previous series, and I’m hoping it continues into the next one. Then there’s the witch plot line that is getting surprisingly serious, and troublesome for the two. Kaoruko is surprisingly strong (with her powers, specifically), and since this causes problems for her and Kaname, who is trying to protect her, we get to meet some other witches. I’m a little wary of them, and unsure if I like the general direction they’re going, but I’m interested. This series is not at the top of my list, but I want to read more, to see where it goes next.
