Flower Beauty Light Illusion Foundation (Caramel)

My favorite foundation over the last few years. Is hydrating, thicker, and provides a smooth finish. Matches my shape perfectly. Blends well with every product I've tried both cream and powder. It is well worth the money over more expensive brands.

I like this foundation overall. The color match is good (Ivory works for my pale skin) and I love the pump applicator. I had much better results applying it with a damp beauty sponge than with a brush. Using a brush made my pores look huge and my skin look dry and cakey. With the sponge, I applied the foundation using a pressing/rolling motion over the areas of my face with large pores and that seemed to help. I then set it with RCMA loose powder. Even then, the finish was definitely dewy, which is what I was looking for. After about 5 hours, the area around my nose and chin were a bit shiny, so I just reapplied some powder and was good to go.This does have a beautiful glowy finish. It still looks like I have foundation on--it doesn't look like my own skin--but I am in my early 40's and don't have perfect skin anymore. I think this foundation does a good job given the skin I have to work with. Would recommend.

I use and love Flower Beauty eyeliner and thought I would try other products from the line. Flower Beauty Light Illusion Foundation was fine, not great nor awful.PROs: light weight, the sunscreen did not cause breakouts, little to no scent.CONs: The foundation settled in every pore and crease. Not a good look for anyone. I ordered Ivory, the shade did match my fair complexion with red undertones, but I felt it had a slight warm / yellow tone to it which left a clear line along the jawline even with blending. I've used other brands that I could get a better skin tone match where blending on the neck was not such an issue.

I have sensitive skin with rosacea, and I spend a lot of money on skin care and makeup to try to keep my face happy. I decided to give Flower makeup a try since my coloring is very close to Drew's and she looks great in the promotional videos I've seen for it. I was very surprised by the high quality of this foundation and it's now my #1 makeup product and Flower is my new #1 makeup brand!PROS* It's shockingly inexpensive, especially considering the quality and the amount in the bottle.* It's easy to work with and can be used as a single sheer layer or in buildable layers.* It doesn't look cakey.* It feels lightweight.* It has a lovely finish that has gotten me many compliments on my "glowing" skin.* It has just enough hydration that I haven't had to use moisturizer under it.* It looks just as great at the end of a 12-hour day as it does when I first put it on.* I was able to find a great color match by going to the official site and using their foundation match tool.* It's truly cruelty-free, which means that not only does Flower not do any testing at their company but their suppliers do not test on animals, and they do not sell their products in countries that require animal testing.CONS* I wish there were more shades in the line so it would be possible to fine tune my closest match, and so all customers could have more options.* The dispenser top is a bit clunky and always leaves a blotch of foundation on itself when used.* The bottle is fairly heavy, which could be an issue for those who need to carry it in a makeup bag.* I need to find a new brush cleaner because my current one isn't able to clean off this foundation very well from my brushes. A testament to its staying power, I guess?

I was so pleased with FB products that I had to try this even though I have so many face products as well as a holy grail foundation in my arsenal. When another reviewer said this is just as good or better than high end foundations, I had to see for myself. I don't have the best skin. I am 52 years old with lots of hyper pigmentation. There is no beauty filter on this pic... I would say this is def a medium coverage but buildable without being too thick. I added a thin second layer on my cheeks and right under my eyes using a damp sponge.. It evened out my skin tone and still made me look natural yet put together. I didn't even apply setting powder. I didn't need it.. Seriously it went on like a dream. I looked at my face like are you freaking kidding me? I absolutely love how it made me glow yet no trace of glitter that I can see.. It didn't oxidize during the day although when you first dot it on, it looks lighter and then settles into your perfect color so get your normal shade. I'm pretty much natural beige across the board (light to medium leaning neutral medium) for about 90 percent of foundations. Omg get it. I need to buy my Mom a bottle. Soooo good.Drew did such an amazing job on her products especially this one!

I Love this light weight foundation made by Flower. It's not sticky, cakey, it simply glides on , does the job to perfection. I'm glad I found it .
