If you’re new to Graston, I want to really encourage you to take it easy with the pressure you exert while using this instrument. I went a little too gung-ho and now my whole leg is bruised ! Use light movement and don’t push it too hard. The instrument is a wonderful value, easy to use, and cleans easily with soap and hot water. I have used it in places all over the entire body, and it works very well. Highly recommend!

This really helps with my knee pain to break up the stiffness in the IT-band in my thigh. Great for deep massage of sore muscles.

My physical therapist recommended that I get such a tool to relieve tight muscles. He recommended this "boomerang" shape. To my surprise, the tool is quite easy to grip and smooth to use. It is very sturdy, and has a good heft which allows it to be drawn smoothly across the skin. I am quite pleased with how it works.

Will write about shipping shortly. I have used Graston Tools and while this is not the same weight, shape or thickness, this is a very nice product and works great on the superficial facia layer. I am not sure why people are calling this aluminum. It weighs 5 oz/143 grams and is sturdy like stainless steel; however, there is no stamp identifying the material. Be aware of weird shipping messages. I purchased this because the software said I would get it the same day. It took 5 days to get here and for 2-3 days it was in total limbo which made me think of fraud. I did get the product and I like it.

I'm absolutely in love with this product and so happy I chose it after reviewing everything possible online. I wanted one because last year when I injured my foot, ankle and leg, nothing seemed to help heal it. A doctor confirmed there was no sprain or break (apparently I'd torn some ligaments or something) but things just didn't wanna heal right. I even wore a brace for 3 months! Then a friend, who was a sports coach, used a tool like this on me only twice with coconut oil and placed sports tape over the injured areas instead, just for a couple of days and everything healed up perfectly! I haven't had to wear a brace or had any problems since. His tool was so much more expensive though (like $300!) which I can't afford, so I spent a lot of time researching to find something similar yet, affordable. I also tried ordering a few different ones from other websites, but they proved to be miniature in size once they arrived, so very difficult to use. This thing is absolutely perfect in every way though and I just couldn't be happier! Especially since injuring my left knee now, lol From what I understand, using it helps increase the blood flow for faster healing times and so forth (you can look all that up.) And it really does work! It's better than a massage even, finding and smoothing out things you didn't even realize were there until running this thing over the area. The size, shape and super smooth design of this tool seems perfect for just about anywhere on the body ~ Even the neck and tops of shoulders where most of us carry all our stress. Btw, I'm very sensitive and particular about anything and everything that comes in contact with my body, so there are very few things I will personally recommend or take the time to write such a lengthy review like this... So, I think that speaks volumes! :)

This product was recommended to me by a massage therapist. After buying one I liked it so much I bought a colleague and my coach one. It is amazing. After a long workout I get lactic buildup in my arms near by biceps. This scraper took it right out! Will highly recommend for anyone with similar issues.

Have been struggling w/plantar fascitis for awhile. At one point I had physical therapy and the therapist used one of these. They are sturdy and heavy. Also comes in a nice storage case. Definitely recommend this product.

it’s heavy and I don’t have to apply too much pressure. the shape is also easy to hold.
