Might be the best Jasmine I have tasted yet!
I’m not one to exaggerate but this might be one of the best, if not THE best Jasmine Green tea I have ever tasted. And this is coming from a guy who loves tea and seeks out the finest, including from well known and established Chinese vendors. But enough fluff, what about the tea?I decided to try this a few ways- Li Da Teahouse’s recommended pyramid bag brewing and Gong Fu Cha style with a Gaiwan.Let me also mention that the pyramid bags themselves are really big, much larger than regular bags or other pyramid bags. This is good because the downside of bagged tea (and the reason I drink loose tea almost exclusively) is restricting the tea’s expansion and movement in the water. This tea has no problems expanding! The first thing you will notice when you open the bright green sealed packaging is the wonderful aroma! I am transported into a spring garden and the Jasmine is sweet! I have had tons of Jasmine but the sweet floral of this is light years beyond! And you can tell it is natural and not artificial. And it has a warm candy linger. Just amazing! So following the suggested brewing, I heated up my kettle to 175 F (or 80C and if you don’t have a varied temp kettle or a thermometer just let it sit a minute or two after boil) and poured it right over the bag and let it sit 3 minuets. The pearls opened up but not full (which is awesome because it means more steepings!) and the liquor (brewed tea liquid) came up a clear lime glass. But the taste was out of this world. Delicate floral, and the green tea was warm and not a hint of bitterness!!! The mouthfeel was silky and a clean aftertaste.I also tried this tea win a Gaiwan (or lidded Chinese cup). And it brewed up stronger but only a hint of astringency.I am so happy with this tea.Don’t let the pyramid bags put you off if you are a loose leaf guy like me. They can breathe. At 3 grams a bag and 30 bags this came out to about 18 cents a gram which is a great price for this quality Jasmine.I highly recommend it!Kudos to LiDa Teahouse 茶

Enjoyable Jasmine Dragon Pearl Tea.
I brewed this tea using a 200 ml gaiwan and followed temp suggestions. To brew in a gaiwan I used approximately 6 grams of tea and used steep times of 40 sec x4 steeps, 50 sec, 60 sec, 80 sec, 100 sec, 120 sec, 150 sec*Dry Leaf Aroma: There is an obvious jasmine aroma but also a hint of fruit that I didn’t expect. It reminds me of apricots and it’s quite lovely.*Dry Leaf Aroma in Heated Gaiwan: The heat only deepens the beautiful jasmine and apricot aroma.*Wet Leaf: There is a hint of vegetal but it also has a sweet but rich aroma that reminds me of the woods after a rain, petrichor I believe. The hint of jasmine and apricot are also still there so it is a beautiful aroma.*Tea Liquor: Vegetal with fresh greens and a tiny hint of astringency but sweet with jasmine and a light apricot taste. It leaves a very pleasant and refreshing mouthfeel with hints of jasmine and apricot. I also get a very light but rich woodsy taste in the background which I think balances all the flavors together. It is a very nice tea and very relaxing. It’s one of those teas that makes you sigh with comfort.**Final Thoughts: While this tea doesn’t have the most jasmine flavor I have ever had the jasmine flavor is very much present enough that I noticed it throughout the steeps and I enjoyed it and so did my kids. I even got a jasmine flower in my tea.:) It has a very balanced flavor with very little astringency and that is what I look for in teas that I drink. It leaves a pleasant mouthfeel that is very refreshing long after you stop drinking the tea. The tea liquor is light golden yellow and it almost glows. What I thought was interesting about this tea was that it’s the first jasmine tea I have tasted that had background hints of apricot and that was a very nice surprise and I feel that makes this tea special in it’s own right. I think this tea would be excellent cold brewed as well and I definitely will try that too. I did enjoy this tea and I would highly recommend it as a daily drinker and I would definitely purchase this tea again.

Amazing
Aside from ice water Jasmine tea is y far my favorite beverage. Normally I prefer a very strong floral taste that is almost bitter from the jasmine, but whoever is mixing this blend really gets it. The Green tea is not overly acidic, leaving me to believe that they are choice leaves. The price for the quality is mind-boggling to me. I have only made one order to test this, and will be reordering soon,, but if the batches remain consistent I will be sticking comfortably with this company for the foreseeable future. I do not take this statement lightly, for I take this beverage seriously.

My second purchase
I am a bit picky where it comes to tea and evaluates teas in terms of flavor, aroma and how it stays on the palette. These rolled jasmine tea leaves come close to meeting the three criteria. You don't need many of these rolled leaves to make a very satisfying cup. This is the second time I've ordered this brand and have to say I am glad the quality hasn't changed.

Delicious, but a little weak for my taste
The tea is very good. It has a light, floral flavor that I find very tasty. The sachets were of a high quality material and I have yet to experience a tear. I found the tea to be a bit weak because of the minimal amount of tea in each sachet, but it’s easily fixed by adding an extra sachet.

Flavor not strong enough...even steeped 10mins!
Much smaller pearls than I get from a local English tea-store that imports the same tea. Extremely bland flavor, even after steeping for over 10mins! However, a lot cheaper & saved me $9.95 a bag and got an ounce more than I’d normally get locally. There’s really no aroma to this tea & generally the dragon pearls have a strong pleasant aroma.

It is a jasmine tea.
I was expecting something spectacular for this price. I have drunk more fragrant, smoother jasmine tea for better prices. Maybe, I should use to it.., but If you want my immediate impression from this tea - this opinion is honest.

Good Jasmine Dragon Pearls
This jasmine green tea has a nice aroma. The taste is even nicer. It leaves that mouth feel the chinese like from their tea. I am not too fond of the green tea taste so I like it with jasmine which makes it so much better and I still get the benefits of green tea. All should give this a try.
