Great condition, looks like new

I've used this excellent book with my story students. Nancy Beiman is clear, concise, experienced and uses great examples to illustrate her ideas for story. She is a superb storyboard artist in her own right, articulate, talented and funny. She comes to this expert level both from her professional experience of many years at Disney Feature Animation, and teaching at the excellent Sheridan school in Canada. Wonderful, useful book.

For my money, still the best animation story/character how-to book out there. The hard copy is well worth your time.

This review is a reflection of the Kindle edition. The Kindle edition suffers from low res images. Buy the hard copy instead as the points illustrated in the text are meant to work in concert with the images. It is not worth the $42 that the publisher is charging.

Bought this book for my Storyboarding class. Some good technical info, but as an artist I'd love to have more images and examples. I was also surprised that it was almost all student work. A lot of it is good work, but you'd think for students aspiring to make industry-standard work, it would be better to include, well, industry-standard work.
