TC2503LF 1-Inch Foot Valve

The Parts2O TC2503LF 1-Inch Foot Valve is exactly what I needed for pumping water out of our bayou to water my vegetable and flower gardens. It works great and is very well made.

This is a great foot valve. I purchased this at the same I purchased a 1.6 hp garden pump. Absolutely essential as it maintains the water pressure in your hose lines when you temporarily turn off the pump (e.g., while changing from sprinkler to nozzle). It also acts to filter incoming water, preventing clogging or damage to your pump. I use it in a lake to water my grass. Indispensable. Very heavy too so it acts like a “sinker” and drops your hose to the bottom of the lake quickly and keeps it in place. Using it everyday for over a month and no problems. Worth the money. Happy I bought it.

Working perfectly since June 2016 installation with an irrigation pump to suck water out of my sump pit. Today (4/26/17) I turned the pump on - the valve had not leaked during the 5 months I was not using the pump - still filled with water. Pretty impressed.update 5/2/18: turned the pump on after another 5 months of non-use and the pump was still primed and ready to go - no leakage through the foot valve.update 7/14/22 - still working perfectly

Works great

Bought this thinking it was one foot long shrunk to 1”. Why say “1 inch Foot valve” if it is actually only 1 inch?Anyways, this thing worked great. I stuffed in deep inside of the opening of my pump. It was surprisingly tight, yet no friction which made it an easy slip in. Worked great and construction was quality.

This works great. We are using it on a pump for taking lake water and going into a watering system. This has a check valve so that the pump does not lose its prime each time you use it. I let it set for about a month, came out and turned it back on, and it still held prime. Good part

I bought this foot valve to go on the end of a 1" hose that feeds my Wayne lawn watering pump. We draw water out of our pond to water our plants in rural Florida. This valve keeps the intake pipe from unloading and requiring repeated pump priming. It also keeps gunk from getting into the pump. It's been working great for us.

No problems with this unit. I am only having it hold about a 5 ft. rise coming from a pond. works well with the Wayne PLS 100 1 hp. pump and 1 inch black 100psi water line I am using. I drilled a bunch of 1 inch holes in a 5 gallon bucket to set this in so it doesn't suck the silt and vegetation from the bottom of the pond.
