inTank Water Director and Plug Kit for Fluval Evo 13.5

Plug fit with a drop of aquarium glue to hold in place as recommended & flow was better. The water director was also held in place with glue as there was no media basket. Everything is now flowing better.

i was not sure what these were useful for until I purchased them. I had upgraded my Fluval 13.5 EVO with a new more powerful pump to increase the flow for the corals I was introducing to the tank- these pieces help direct the flow at the entry point to get even distribution of the water spilling into the first chamber of the filtration. the results were immediate and I saw improved water clarity and better filtration in the first chamber on the first day i put them in place. They also come with a plug for the intake on the Fluval that helps with the flow as well. Inexpensive but a powerful addition to your Fluval water filtration system.

I like the design but for me it doesn’t really fit my tank I have the Fluval Evo 13.5 gallon and it didn’t fit right it was tiny bit smaller

Best $10 I’ve ever spent. Flow to chamber 1 is immediately increased after plug was installed and the water director fixes an issue where water would get between sides of media basket while keeping slimmer level at the perfect height. I also own both media chamber baskets for Fluval Evo 13.5. Strongly recommend anything inTank makes.

I bought this for my tank and maybe my problem was due to having an established tank, but the plug kept falling out. Finally I gave up and threw it away. I do not recommend this if you have your tank already set up as you won't be able to silicone it in place like you would if it wasn't already going

Work as advertised.

Plug is very loose in the hole, nothing some aquarium glue won’t fix. Water director fits, but not in the way you’d think, so read the directions.
