This mousse is listed as unscented, but it is an error. This does have fragrance, so if you are sensitive to fragrances, try something else. I was unable to use the product, so I can't comment on how well it works.

A good friend raved so highly over this product, I finally decided to try it. And after the first use, I'm hooked. Since foam is new to me, I hardly know how to praise it. First, it's lightweight and slides in easily as I work it through my fine, thin hair. Only one small squirt gives just the hold needed, and my hair no longer looks & feels greasy. My friend's hair is long & thick; therefore; we realized it works great on any type hair. Ooh, if I'd only discovered GIOVANNI mousse years ago, but I too cheap to invest in the best!

Of the 2 bottles that came, one expelled puffy "air infused" mousse and the 2nd one expelled the product with a water-like texture. I used the 2nd bottle and got the same results that I had with the first bottle, so I guess all is well.

Okay I didn’t expect much from this product as I’ve tried other mousses and they didn’t work for me and left my curls weighed down, but THIS!!! I normally have to diffuse my hair and I use curl smith gel to hold my curls and my curls still don’t look this good! I used the curl smith gel in combination with this Giovanni mousse and air dried and my results are amazing as you can see! The first picture is my next day hair after using this combo and I’m am so excited my hair still looks this good and I didn’t even have to touch it up with water and diffusing! The second picture shows my hair how I have done it before now and how my hair can look the next day. If you have fine wavy/curly hair that is easily weighed down like mine, I totally recommend you get this (possibly the curl smith hydro style flexi jelly gel too) and this is my professional opinion because I am a hairstylist and I love the product! Another thing to add is that I clarified my hair very well using a mix of the tea tree and 50/50 Giovanni shampoo and then used the Giovanni smooth as silk shampoo and conditioner after, it left my hair bouncy, shiny and silky!

I love Giovanni hair products and have been using them since the early 2000s. But the last few years, the hairstyling foam medium to firm hold is so much windier than it used to be. I used to have a good crunch on my hair if it dried on my hair and I’d have to wet it down and style it Now nothing like that it’s doesn’t provide the firm hold that it used to. Since I have very thin hair, this was critical in my hair routine to have this firm hold. I called the company couple of years ago and they said they hadn’t changed the formula, but it’s not the same formula that it used to be. It’s very disappointing. I still use it, but I wish it had the firm hold that it used to have.

I have longish hair and wanted a product that boosted roots. This is the best I've found. No greasiness or sticky residue.

This mousse turned my unprocessed hair into dried out straw, increased frizz, and flattened my waves to tangled sticks. Stay away if you’re looking for hydration. Also, it’s ineligible for return, so I basically threw my money away because this is going in the trash.
