There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Rose!

My daughter has almost all the old lady books and loves them. They are fun for kids and great for starter reading books.

My children love these books, get a kick out of all the things the old lady swallows. Nothing in the title suggests this is a Valentines Day edition except maybe the rose but it is! I had purchased based off the colors, to become part of the Valentines set up I did for my children (pictured). Lucky me, the very end the of book says Happy Valentine’s Day! Cute and funny illustrations as always.

Bought for my daughter to add to a bag of other Valentine’s Day gifts I bought her and she loved it and it was a great addition to her growing book collection.

An oldy but a goody, love that they have these little themed versions of it.

My granddaughter loves this series of books. She's just learning to read herself and loves the rhymes!

My son is 4. He has always loved this series since he was 2. I love the reception & silly humor in this book.

So I work with children and I just got this book today in anticipation for Valentine’s Day and how much the kids like these books. I’m disappointed that the book came damaged. It kinda looks like it got stuck or something. The pages are all a little bent.The reason I would give this a 5 star review is the story itself though a little short is fantastic. The kids really love these books and we have a bunch already.
