This truly is an Excellent Spoon. It’s Very Sturdy and Well Made, and the Exquisite, Detailed Etched-On Design makes it a Magnificent Work of Art Worthy of Display, on top of its “Practical Uses”. I have Never Seen Another Set of Wooden Kitchen Spoons that were “Decorated” with Etched-On Designs like these Spoons are, which makes them truly UNIQUE and “One of a Kind”!! The “Woodland Collection”, with its Array of “Forest Animals”, is perfect for an Animal Lover and Animal Advocate like Me. I have Woodland Animal Décor Throughout My Entire Home, so this particular collection fits in perfectly. Thus, gushing with LOVE for this “Woodland Collection” of Wooden Kitchen Spoons, I set about looking for and purchasing the ENTIRE COLLECTION on Amazon, and I managed to purchase ALL BUT ONE SPOON, a “Sauce Spoon” with a little Deer etched on it. NOWHERE on Amazon could I find the “Deer Sauce Spoon”! I went online to try and find it elsewhere, and decided to start with the Manufacturer, “Talisman Designs”, and lo and behold, they have a website talismandesigns.com, where one can purchase any of their items. I was THRILLED to find My “Missing Deer Sauce Spoon” there, it was “In Stock”, and for a GREAT PRICE of just $10.00!! Then suddenly, My Joy Turned To EXTREME UPSET when I saw the PRICES OF THE OTHER SPOONS THAT I HAD ALREADY PURCHASED ON AMAZON!! I PAID $13.95 for this SQUIRREL CORNER SPOON, and talismandesigns.com had it for $9.00!! That’s a $4.95 PRICE DIFFERENCE and it’s NOT “In My Favor”. I Purchased a TOTAL OF 6 SPOONS From the SAME SELLER as I purchased this one from, and FIVE of Them Were “Over Priced” compared to talismandesigns.com’s Prices!! talismandesigns.com Didn’t Have the 6th Spoon, so there is No Price to Compare on that one. I PAID a TOTAL of $68.75 BEFORE TAXES for the 5 Spoons I Purchased from THIS SELLER, and the EXACT SAME 5 SPOONS would have COST ME a TOTAL of $43.00 BEFORE TAXES on talismandesigns.com. THAT’S A $25.75 DIFFERENCE FOR THE TOTAL ORDER, and ITS NOT IN MY FAVOR!! I Am NOT A Happy Camper!! I am Contemplating RETURNING the 5 SPOONS for a REFUND, and then Re-Purchasing Them on talismandesigns.com, but wonder if the grief and aggravation of shipping them back, plus POSSIBLE Return Shipping Costs, would “Negate” the $25.75 I’d Be Saving?? But, regardless of what I decide, I would, at the Very Least, like to “Make Other Amazon Shoppers Aware” and SAVE THEM FROM MAKING THE SAME COSTLY MISTAKE I DID.

I love these folksy designs by Talisman and am collecting more of them.Things to know: it's a wooden spoon so wash it by hand. It's a sturdy wood though. The laser-cut design was very good on this one. I've seen other ones where the design is not put in as deeply so make sure you see a photo if you buy a used one. It has a nice curving point on the end to reach corners when cooking which is thoughtful.

This is a lovely spoon to add to my very cute kitchen.

Pretty yet functional, that says it all. I've only used this spoon a few time so far but once was in a dish with canned tomatoes and tomato sauce and it didn't stain. It's heavier than the wooden spoons you buy in the grocery store or at the dollar store. The spoon did have a sticker on the handle that left a little residue behind but that should come off within a few washes. I also bought the matching turner I did not have any issue with the sticker. Buy this or any of the other designs you like, you won't be sorry.ETA - the sticker residue came off after just a wash or two.

This is a nice spoon but I slathered it with Boos Blocks for several days to keep it from drying out & eventually cracking.

Gorgeous! I ordered two of these designed spoons and am so thrilled with both of them. The designs are adorable, and the spoons are so sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised with how thick the spoons are and how nice the wood coloring is on them. I am so pleased with these and they will go great in my shabby chic kitchen.

I think this spoon is so cute! I love the design and that it has a point for scraping out a bowl. However, I was a little suspicious of their eco-friendly "from a sustainable forest" claim after seeing on the packaging this was made in China. Oh well, here's hoping they weren't lying about the FDA approval.

This corner spoon is adorable and functional. I used it the day it was delivered on acid Rich sauce and the details on the spoon washed up perfectly. It's a nicely weighted spoon and it seems to hold up well with "rough use."

Cute spoon, great to give as part of a shower gift. The only critique that I'd give is that the etching could be a little deeper, some of the lines are a bit faint.
