After I washed and dried these sheets and started to put them on the bed, I was alarmed to notice what seemed to be small gold-brown stains in various spots -- on both the sheets and pillowcases. I thought something had gone wrong in the washer or dryer, like grease or motor oil or something had gotten all over the sheets. Eventually I remembered I hadn't washed the bottom sheet, and upon taking it out of the package I saw that it, too, had the mystery stains all over it.So apparently they're not stains, they're part of the design. But they sure look like a mistake. In the photos I've attached (just three examples), you can see these "stains" to the left of the wheel and to the right of the cowboy's boot and the cow. What is it supposed to be? Random Wild West dirt? (Ignore any hairs you see. Cats.)Otherwise, I agree with previous assessments of this sheet set. The design is cute -- in my case, a grown man, it reminds me of a Western-themed quilt from my childhood. And true, these sheets are not particularly soft. I wouldn't quite say scratchy, but for $70 I think they could be softer. Maybe with enough washings and dryings they'll improve. The all-over brown stains, however, are apparently here to stay.

Wish they came in full - a little big for queen size bed but these are the absolute only vintage cowboy sheets I could find. Want a cowboy theme room for my lil man that is classic not commercial. Love, love, love, love this print. Wish there was a coordinating comforter and that they came in full size.

The fitted sheet unraveled from the elastic the first time I put them on the bed. For the cost, I would have expected a better quality.

Description for this product says cotton in two places but it's made of cheap polyester. Took a photo of the fabric label so you can see.

These sheets are so cute in my guesy room sofa bed. They are not soft at all but fun for my grandchildren!

Good quality. They fit perfectly in my son’s cowboy room! They are pretty soft but still thick. They also are good about being washed and dried and coming out of the drier relatively wrinkle free. They look great on our bed and I’m very happy with my purchase. I will happily purchase another set when these become worn.

I ordered two sets. Once I got the first one. I was amazed with the colors , design and the quality of the sheets. I couldn't resist so I got the second one. It looks amazing on my guest room. I do recommend this product!
