These little gadgets work perfectly for saving your walls from scratches and ugly marks. The cap ends of most gates are not sturdy and slide out of place on your walls causing damage. These wall nannies not only protect your walls, they also assist in keeping your gate securely in place. Definitely worth it. Stop scrubbing your walls when you can buy these awesome little gadgets!

I purchased a couple of sets to go with our new pet gates. The pet gates are normally hardware-mounted or adhere to the wall/door jamb with a double-sided sticky pad. Our wall paint is less than optimal and flakes off with anything that puts a serious "rub" on the wall, so we didn't want to rip the paint off with the adhesive. After close to two months, the gates are still in place (no sliding around) on the door jamb and the (archway) wall, and the paint is still where it belongs! They can be flipped to either portrait or landscape orientation, depending on how wide your application space is, but I recommend landscape if you can fit them that way, particularly on the bottom.

Works great! I’ve bought these several times (I lose them when I don’t have the gates up). So worth it enough to me to keep buying. Saves my walls from Getting torn up due to the pressure of the gate. I do wish it was slightly cheaper

I ordered a baby gate and was defintely not going to be screwing into my walls to stabilize the gate. I found these Wall Nanny's and they are perfect! They make the gate super sturdy and safe without having to damage my walls. It did take a little time to install the gate with these but 100% worth a little struggle. The gate is super sturdy and I have absolutely zero worries that the gate will become unstable.

Purchased both a black and white set for different needs. Like how it adds additional grip to the walls for protection. As long as you don't abuse the opening and closing of your gates, these should the trick. Also used a set for a dog gate in an entry opening in between the rails of our deck. Not perfect because we needed more solid space on the rail post to be a nice fit but it will do.

I don't have a baby, which might have encouraged me to actually drill into the newel posts and drywall to support the gates I bought, but I just bought the gate to keep the dog from running rough-shod over my house and harassing the cats. It's a new house, and I didn't want to start drilling into things, so these wall nanny things did a great job of distributing the pressure over a wider area and keeping me from having to drill. My walls are off-white, and the newel post is a dark brown - so I got multiple colors (black and white) for each side; the second gate I use is in an all white frame, so I got white for that one. Pretty happy, overall.

These are totally worth every penny! Saved my siding outside my house, high quality and look great. Allowed me to install outside on siding with great grip, highly recommend!

Thought at least you would get some screws for the price. Items were too long for the baby gate installation I had in mind. Very expensive !!!!!

Excellent product. I bought a safety gate for the top of my stairs. We painted a couple of months ago and did not want to screw anything into the wall. We have a wood banister on one side with flat surfaces, but the other side has the wall for the top part of the gate and decorative trim on the bottom - which is not flat. The pad fits perfectly over the surface of the trim and firmly holds the gate screws in place. The one against the painted wall leaves no markings whatsoever. I also find that the gate holds much more securely with the pads, so I use them against the wood banister as well, even though they are not really needed. Great idea. Excellent product. If you are considering these, don't hesitate.

Amazing product! We have a wide staircase with a glass wall banister on one side and wall on the other side. So dripping wasn’t an option for us. So far it’s held up very well. Have already been referring it to friends.
