OXO Good Grips Steady Paper Towel Holder

Intelligent design of the Oxo Steady Paper Towel Holder's rod. The material and shape manage to hold the paper towel just enough so the paper towel doesn't spin and spin. The weight of the base is enough to prevent the holder from tipping over as a sheet of paper towels is pulled from the roll. My prior paper towel holder was at least twice the price of this one and it has a clamp that holds the side of a roll of towels and another that holds the top of the roll. In theory, that combination should have prevented the roll from unwinding but, it didn't. Instead, I had to use one hand to grab a sheet and the other hand to keep the roll from unwinding. That is very inconvenient when you're in the midst of doing something (as my brother discovered while changing out the kitchen faucet) and you can't use both hands. The design of the Oxo Steady Paper Towel holder is potentially good for anyone who has a physical disability affecting the grip of one or both hands. While I don't compare my from time-to-time weakness in my left hand to someone who has another disability, I can say that this holder will make things easier for me. The price of this paper towel holder is good. I'm going to buy another for my guest bathroom.

Excellent paper towel holder. Not too heave but not too light. Just the perfect amount of tension to pull off a paper towel with one hand. It’s just about easy enough to change the roll. It holds giant rolls but doesn’t take up too much space on your counter. I am blown away by OXO once again! Just when you thought “big deal, what’s in a paper towel holder?” You come across this wonder of a creation and see how much thought could be put into a product. It could look pricey to some but is worth the investment! Trust me!

I bought 3 different ones, this one won hands down. It's heavy, stable, and easy one hand pulls. It stays put in my busy kitchen and I can move it easily. I prefer these open ones over the ones with the little arm to help tear.

Seems like a good heavy duty product, would have given five stars but it came with a small dent in the base.

This is one of the best towel holders I have ever tried. Easy to snatch a single towel or a few at a time. It now has a permanent home at my BBQ station. Would buy again, would recommend to a friend.

I was looking for a replacement paper towel holder. Most of the ones I've seen are cheap looking and not very functional. After reading dozens of positive reviews, I bought this one. It's a great choice.It came fully assembled unlike the cheap ones I had looked at. I love the clean, simple lines and the weighted base with a rubber bottom so it doesn't slide around or scratch counters. It's heavy enough to dispense one towel at a time instead of tipping over.I really like the functionality of this paper towel holder - it can hold any size roll securely. The stainless steel is clean-looking and doesn't show fingerprints. I think this one is going to last for a long time. Highly recommend.
