Q: Does the watch come with a warranty? On product description it says ‘no warranty ‘.

Hi all g shock watches come with a minimum 2 year warranty... Some of the more expensive models 3 years... I only just set the watch up via the g shock app... Step by step instructions... Was pretty easy... As some reviews mention it a little bit harder to read the screen than a standard watch.. as it a 'negative' screen type watch... Hope that usefull to you

Q: I have brought this watch as a gift today, I will be giving this in the last week of December 2019, will there any issue on the battery life or so?

Yes. Worst case is it will have a blank screen when its opened but a shake of it usually springs them back into life. They go into a power saving mode when in the total darkeness

Q: What colour is the backlight?

No particular colour, (white?) it just highlights the numerals a little more clearly. The display on this watch is very muted. It's like they've protected the solar battery by making sure the display does not draw too much power. The watch is OK but nothing more than that. It's the least impressive G-shock/wave ceptor I've bought in the last 15 years.
