Whenever light warming layer is needed and fleece is not up to the task, it’s the Wolfound to the rescue. This lightweight jacket was designed as an insulation layer, either standalone or combined with some outer layer. The Climashield Apex insulation (same as in Level 7 Jacket) keeps the user warm in all conditions. It dries lightning-fast when wet. Outer Nylon shell is breathable, yet protects the insulation from damage and the wearer from light wind and rain. VersaStrech fabric panels in armpits improve air circulation and enhances comfort, while cuffs of the same fabric keep sleeves closed, trapping the warm air and preventing wind from chilling arms. Soft fleece collar lining enhances wearing comfort and prevents abrasions. Lower front pockets are fleece lined for warmth. The Wolfhound Jacket is easily compressible and can be packed tight without insulation properties lost. Discreet velcro panel at left upper sleeve provides easy personalization. Outstanding warming properties, high breathability, light weight and high compressibility - all combine to make Wolfhound a perfect all-year garment for all outdoor enthusiasts (and more).

Great Jacket
Great jacket, well made. Warm!!! and overall happy. The Seller did send the wrong size however. but I am okay with it. (I ordered a Medium, received a Large)

Great insulating layer
I personally like the Helikon-Tex brand clothing line. I own the trooper soft shell jacket which keeps me warm in 30 degree weather. With the wolfhound jacket, it adds an additional warmth for colder weather with out feeling over layered. This jacket works well in moderate cold climates and feels great while worn.

Spart Euch das Geld für teure Marken wie North Face oder Jack Wolfskin
Der polnische Hersteller Helikon-Tex ist seit Jahren mein treuer Begleiter da ich für kleines Geld hochwertig verarbeitete Kleidung erhalte die es in zivilen also unauffälligen Farben gibt. Helikon-Tex produziert für Armeen Kleidung die hochwertig sein muss und die Standards sind deutlich höher als bei namhaften Outdoor Marken!Woher weiß ich das? Tja ich habe früher auch gedacht es muss die und die Jacke von North Face, Wolfskin, Mamut usw. sein bis ich eines Tages auf Helikon-Tex stieß! Bei den Jacken kann ich Euch nur den Tipp geben eine Nummer kleiner zu bestellen da die Größen meist fast eine Nummer größer ausfallen! Dies ist kein Qualitäts Defizit sondern dem militärischen Bereich geschuldet da dort unter der Jacke noch Artikel wie Westen, Halfter, Molle Systeme usw. eingesetzt werden und die müssen natürlich bei der entsprechenden Größe drunter passen!Helikon-Tex wird auch immer bekannter und somit ändern sich die Schnittmuster und Modelle auch zu noch modischeren Artikeln die einfach gefallen.
