OneUp Components V2 Dropper Post

Awesome dropper post for a great price! Love the dependability and performance and adjustability. I had to shorten the travel a bit due to obstruction in seat tube - super easy process.

I have the 30.9mm/90mm V2 and it's the only dropper that will fit my bike's design and my height - the curve in the seat post makes the insertion depth less than 7". this means that other designs' (KS eTen 100mm) minimum dropped height is 3 inches above my seat collar, which is not low enough for my riding. I have a Tranz-X on another bike and it would have the same issue, if not worse.The only problem I have is that the actuation is stiff/hard to press. It is not my lever (tried several) or cable (new) - they are light and smooth. It is the dropper because I can press the actuator right on the bottom of the dropper with my thumb and it takes a lot more force than the Tranz-X and KS eTen. I have the PSI at about 280 (max 300). SInce others say theirs is light, I suspect something is wrong with mine.I have emailed OneUp support with no response yet.PROS: shortest stack height in the industry allows it to drop all the way to my seat collar. feels high quality and they say it's easy to rebuild.CONS: the actuator is stiff. it's not terrible but something must be wrong with my unit.also, 100mm would be perfect for my setup instead of 90mm (I can't use the 120mm version and shorten it to 100mm because the 120mm body is too long for my seat tube)

I never thought a dropper post would be such a needed item. This one is the perfect length for me and seems well made and works without issue.I never thought a dropper post would be such a needed item, but after just a few uses, I don't think I could go back to a non dropper post bike, these things are a revelation.As an engineer, being able to top up and adjust the air spring with a pump is a really good design, and I don't know if they are all the same, you can modulate the lift speed with the release lever (Note: Cable and release lever are not included, so you will need to get these separately. I got a wolf tooth remote light action dropper lever and a Jagwire pro dropper seat cable kit which work perfectly with this post).

Solo viene el dropper, funciona muy bien, no es muy pesado, se sienten resistentes los materiales y creo que no le pide nada a un Fox o un crankbrothers, lo recomiendo sin problemas.
