Super Quiet + Threadripper 2950X can turbo properly
Positives;- Very Quiet- Easy install (at least to me)- Looks really niceNegatives;- Very large, I thought it might touch the graphics card backplate even, but there's a small gap thankfully- Fans max RPM is quite low so not recommended for overclocking with stock fans- Fans can be hard to dismount, don't recommend swapping the fans regularly (though who does that anyway? :D ).

Very quiet even when CPU maxed out.
Used with a 24/48 AMD Thread ripper which has been slightly overclocked (6%)Very quiet even when CPU usage at 100% over a period of days.Motherboard temp 21c, CPU temp 64c.I can highly recommend this cooler, and suggest a trail fitting run before using the supplied thermal paste.

Tricky to Mount
Mounting is tricky, the fan that goes in between the heat sink is difficult to install and its direction is a guess. It moves around on the cpu while you are trying to slip in the mounting bracket. But it is silent and looks good. I have a 1900x and so far I havent had any temp issues on stock speed. Not a fan of OC so havent tried it. The MB is meg creation which does report that the fans are not working sometimes but that's by design.

Does the job perfect
got this cooler not expecting much as im wanting it to cool the 2990wx (32core) cpu and i must say this cooler does an excellent job and im very very happy with how cool this keeps my cpu :)

Abysmal cooling performance, fiddly installation
I had high hopes for this cooler, but it failed to deliver. Temps were unacceptably high on my TR 3970x. The most frustrating fan mounting clips I have ever used, it's so filmsy and falls off too easily. Installation was unnecessarily complicated due to the design.

Not great for the ASUS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI Motherboard
Unfortunately the ASUS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI motherboard has the CPU mounted at 90 degrees to other Threadrippers, meaning that this cooling fan is 90 degrees to the airflow. I would prefer to see a direct line of airflow through the system. The distance from the cooling fins is very tight, meaning that the fins are almost touching the RAM. Very close, like less than a millimetre. Not the best for a Threadripper Pro. Look for an alternative.
