Led is definitely the way to go
Just the job they are an easy upgrade to the halogen equivalent and really make a difference to the hallway, when I first installed them a couple didn't work so I pulled them out turned them a around and put back in and now working which pleased me, probably a better connection,they give off a nice clean bright white with no flicker and compliment the other led's which I've recently purchased as well. Yes initially its a fairly costly change over from conventional bulbs but the savings on electricity used plus the clean natural light they give, its definitely worthwhile just hope they last a while

Decent bulbs to replace halogen
Decent product. Bought these to replace the halogen bulbs, which burn out very quick... Installed these instead, it's lasted over a year so far. Not overly bright, I bought the warm white colour light bulbs for the home. Would buy again, but I have loads left at the moment.

L9 bulb with long prongs
Finally after a year of searching these are l9 bulbs with prongs that fit into a halogen light fitting. Most l9 bulbs now are capsules and the prongs are shorter so do not extend far enough from the capsule to fit into the light fixture. Not only that but these are available in two light colours - warm white which is lovely for home as in the photo and cool white which I ordered first and are blindingly white. These were easy to return (free) and I got an immediate refund. Excellent seller, excellent product and very reasonable price.

Does not last for long
Light bulbs did not last long. Only lasted 6 months (2hr per day). 3 out 5 failed within 1 week of each other 6 months from installation.
